Chapter 651 Mountain and Sea Town?

"That looks familiar, who is that...?"

Wu Yue murmured softly.

"Book God!" A respectful voice reached her ears, and a young man came from afar, bowing deeply to Wu Yue. He bowed deeply, his hands clasped in prayer.

Wu Yue watched his movements, and before she could react, she saw the boy look up. His familiar face made her slightly stunned, but this face was more youthful than she had seen before.

“Bai Ze? I told you, I’m not the God of Books.” Wu Yue shook her head gently.

As he spoke, the young man Bai Ze straightened up, a disrespectful expression on his face, and reached out to grab Wu Yue's wrist. "Book God, what kind of joke are you playing on me? Alright, come with me."

As if she had lost control, Wu Yue was pulled forward by Bai Ze. The stone behind her was still the same snapdragon-shaped stone, but when she looked around, the scenery around her had changed at some point.

What was once the backyard of a hut in the underworld has now been transformed into a quaint little town. Though quaint, it exudes a spiritual energy that is beyond the reach of ordinary people.

The surrounding area was bustling with shops of all kinds and styles. Every passerby was stunningly beautiful, and no one could look away. What alarmed Wu Yue was that she could see through these people—behind them lay their true forms, strange beasts exuding the aura of mountains and seas.

Could this be a world of mountains and seas?

"Bai Ze, what's going on?"

Wu Yue was somewhat bewildered, but she was actually very anxious. She had disappeared in the backyard, and she wondered how panicked Yan Chiyu would be. She hadn't found her brother and Zhuque, and now a young and innocent-looking Bai Ze had appeared before her.

Although she knew beforehand that she would encounter many unpredictable things in the underworld and had anticipated that accidents would happen, human power is sometimes limited, and there are many details that she could not know in advance.

She longed to return, yet she couldn't ignore this place, these sudden changes. Bai Ze insisted on calling her the Book Goddess, and now, she grew increasingly curious about this place, this title, this identity.

Although she was being carried along by Bai Ze at breakneck speed, she could still see passing beasts that had transformed into human form bowing to her and addressing her as the Book Goddess with utmost respect.

Wu Yue slowed her pace.

She felt slightly dazed; the scene seemed somewhat familiar, yet mostly strange. Even the ground beneath her feet felt unreal.

"Book God, don't delay, hurry up." Bai Ze urged her again when he saw that she had slowed down.

Wu Yue didn't know where to go; this place was unfamiliar to her and full of new experiences. So she replied, "Bai Ze, lead the way."

"good!"

Bai Ze flashed a playful, youthful smile. Something wonderful seemed to await him ahead, and he quickened his pace with anticipation.

After running for a long time, the quaint town disappeared behind us, the sunset faded, and the orange glow gradually dissipated into the sky, as she lay down her beautiful body.

Suddenly, dark clouds filled the sky, and amidst lightning and thunder, stars began to fall, blurring the sky, and a series of booming sounds echoed between heaven and earth.

They stopped in front of a dark, moss-covered cave. The surroundings were desolate and ravaged.

"Book God, please go in quickly. I'll wait outside." Bai Ze, quite self-aware, skillfully positioned himself at a spot near the cave entrance, the pit beneath his feet quite deep.

Wu Yue glanced at Bai Ze, her heart filled with indescribable feelings. She hesitated slightly, but ultimately stepped into the cave. In that instant, a strange barrier force repelled her, and she was unharmed.

The cave was pitch black; you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Taking a couple more steps in, a faint light peeked through the gaps, and her blurry eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness.

One step, two steps, ...

Wu Yue didn't know what Bai Ze wanted her to do by leading her into the cave. She simply walked forward instinctively, until—

A spot where light condenses.

There was a boy near the stone wall.

The boy opened his eyes at the sound of footsteps and looked up. His eyes, more beautiful and clear than agate or amber, were desolate than moonlight, carrying a soft yet breathtakingly cold quality, like moonlight shining on a barren, dried-up pool—beautiful yet hopeless. He stared straight at Wu Yue, without uttering a single word.

Wu Yue was also looking at him.

Her short, icy pink hair was draped behind her ears, revealing her fair and delicate ears with rosy earlobes.

Wu Yue had always loved appreciating beauty, but the more she looked at the beauty before her, the more her heart trembled.

The boy wouldn't say he looked exactly like her, but at least he resembled her by about 80%.

Wu Yue glanced at the water mirror not far away, and saw that she looked about eight or nine years old in the mirror. About the same age as the boy.

who is he……?
