Chapter 666 Extra: Wu Tan

Wu Tan grew bored in the world of mountains and seas without Wu Yue, so he decided to go to the distant Judgment Star to find his sister.

Okay, he admitted he had a bad sense of direction. Finally, three months after leaving the mountains and seas, he found his way and ended up in an unfamiliar garden. Outside the wall was a bustling street, with people coming and going.

The garden was quiet and still, with only a gentle breeze passing by. The snapdragons, which had secretly bloomed in the middle of the night, stretched out their branches and leaves, absorbing the faint morning glow.

Perhaps it was the sound of him falling that made the noise, for a soft shout suddenly came from the doorway: "Who's there?!"

Wu Tan looked around. This small garden connected to the owner's house, with no other entrances or exits. Unable to explain why he was there, he simply used a magic spell to disappear. He cast an invisibility spell and prepared to leave.

"Is...is it God?"

Wu Tan was startled by these words. How had his identity been exposed so suddenly? He turned around and saw a girl standing in the doorway. She was slender and well-proportioned, with medium-length hair that curled slightly at the ends. Her features were delicate, and her fair face had a youthful quality, somewhere between a girl and a woman, possessing a natural charm and allure.

A faint, delicate fragrance wafted through the air; it was hard to tell if it came from the flowers in the garden or from someone else.

Wu Tan then noticed that the girl's eyes were blind. He could have quickly turned away, but his heart softened when he saw the girl's pitiful appearance, with her head down and eyes lowered, looking anxious and nervous.

Who can blame him for being a kind god?

Wu Tan opened his lips, then suddenly spoke up with an air of self-righteousness: "Child, what brings you here?"

"Grandpa Fairy..." the girl called out cautiously.

Upon hearing this, Wu Tan frowned and interrupted her before she could state her request: "You haven't seen my face, so why do you call me Grandpa Immortal? I'm not old, not at all."

"Can……"

The girl suddenly looked up. Although she couldn't see, she was able to pinpoint Wu Tan's location perfectly, perhaps because she had keen hearing and could locate him by sound.

She smiled slightly and said, "Grandpa Immortal, although I can't see your face, I can see your soul, which is ancient and profound."

Wu Tan pondered the statement carefully and realized it was not the idea he had, that "humans believe that gods have long lives, so gods are all old."

He asked, almost as if possessed, "What kind of soul?"

“I don’t know what happened before. But your soul seems to have broken something and then been repaired…”

He once exhausted all his divine power to save Wu Yue, and was on the verge of death when he began to rebuild his strength.

At this moment, Wu Tan's expression changed slightly as he looked at the girl. The little girl could see the aged soul in his young body; she was no ordinary person.

He changed the subject, "What do you need me for?"

"Today is my eighteenth birthday, and I made a wish to God."

"?"

"Spend the whole day with me, until midnight." The girl's forehead was beaded with sweat, and she seemed a little uneasy and nervous about being rejected.

Wu Tan's divine sense spread out and then retracted in an instant; in this vast manor, she was the only one there. Where were her family?

As if hearing Wu Tan's thoughts, the girl explained softly, "My parents sacrificed themselves in the war five years ago. I am all alone at home, along with a robot nanny."

Even though she couldn't see anything, she tried her best to tilt her head, opening her dark, lifeless eyes to look in Wu Tan's direction, her little face full of expectation.

She waited for a long time without hearing a response, and the girl lowered her head in disappointment. But then, the next second, she heard the god she was praying to lazily hum, slightly annoyed: "Pathetic wish, couldn't you even make a bigger one?"

"?"

"I reluctantly agreed."

Who could blame her when he was the most beautiful and kindest god in the world? After all, she was the first human to pray to him and make a wish.
