Chapter 8: Being Calculated
Standing next to Ye Wanxi, Gao Min naturally saw the contents of the phone as well, her hands clenched into fists at her sides.
Even the slowest person would realize that they and Ye Wanxi had been tricked.
Even if the brand wanted to remove Ye Wanxi's advertisement because of this, they could have simply notified them directly, saving them the trouble of making this trip for nothing.
But they didn't do that. Instead, they selected candidates in advance and then found a pretext to make things difficult for them after they arrived, all in an attempt to humiliate them.
As for why so much effort was put into this, it was clearly related to the swaggering Anna in front of them.
Anna and Ye Wanxi joined the company at the same time, but unfortunately, Anna's appearance was not as outstanding as Ye Wanxi's, and her resources were always suppressed by Ye Wanxi after she joined the company.
Now that Ye Wanxi is in trouble, how could she possibly resist kicking him while he's down?

It felt like punching cotton, frustrating and inexplicably creepy.
"You!" By the time she realized what was happening, Ye Wanxi had already dragged Gao Min downstairs, leaving her so angry that she stomped her feet several times.
Just then, the props team arrived, carrying several adorable kittens: "Teacher Shao, Sister Anna, the cats are here, the cats are here!"
Anna took a deep breath, reached out to touch the cat in the staff member's arms, and sneered, "It's just some trash that others have played with to death. What's with the high and mighty attitude? Just wait, sooner or later you'll be begging me on your knees."
As soon as she finished speaking, the kitten, which had been quite well-behaved in the staff member's arms, suddenly let out a shriek and pounced on Anna.
