Chapter 967 Ha, you dog of a man!

Chapter 967 Ha, you dog of a man!

The Huang family members looked at each other in bewilderment. Although they felt that Huang's sister-in-law's previous appearance did not seem to be due to excessive pressure, the concept of feng shui was inherently mysterious.

The feng shui of this house almost caused them financial ruin, trouble, and even harm to their offspring. Now, with the added impact of a drastic change in the daughter-in-law's (granddaughter-in-law's) temperament, it's understandable.

Once they understood this, they stopped dwelling on the matter and asked Ye Wanxi about how to help Sister-in-law Huang recover and what the young couple should pay attention to if they wanted to have children.

Ye Wanxi wasn't impatient at all, and basically answered all her questions without reservation.

After confirming that there was nothing wrong with the second floor except for the room where Brother Huang and his family lived, Ye Wanxi followed the Huang family downstairs.

It was already close to noon, so the Huang family invited Ye Wanxi to stay for lunch.

Normally, Ye Wanxi would never stay for a meal at the home of someone she had only met once and was completely unfamiliar with.

But today she unexpectedly agreed, and even took Huang's mother aside to order a few dishes.

Mrs. Huang paused for a moment, then looked at Ye Wanxi with a puzzled expression.

Ye Wanxi smiled gently and asked in a low voice, "Is that not allowed?"

"Of course not. It's just that these dishes take a while to prepare, so Miss Ye may have to wait a bit."

"That's alright, I can wait, and I believe it can too."

"it?"

"You'll find out soon enough."

Mrs. Huang blinked, didn't ask any more questions, and told Ye Wanxi to go sit in the living room for a while before going to the kitchen to give instructions.

When the Huang family members sat down at the dining table, they discovered that there were several meat dishes on the table.

The most sumptuous dishes included a large plate of spicy rabbit meat and a whole steaming, fragrant roast chicken.

Huang Mingrui's eyes lit up when he saw the dishes, and he said with delight, "Mom, today's meal is quite sumptuous!"

No wonder he was happy, because of Sister-in-law Huang's unusual behavior these days, there has been no meat on their family's dinner table recently.

I didn't think much of eating this every day before, but after eating grass for several days in a row, seeing these things again immediately whetted my appetite. Especially since their chef's skills are top-notch, the temptation is doubled.

Mrs. Huang gave him a reproachful look and said with a smile, "Today is a good day, worth celebrating, so of course we have to eat something good. Just eat your food properly, there's so much food and you still can't stop eating."

As she spoke, Mrs. Huang also greeted Ye Wanxi, "We've been busy with family matters these past few days and haven't had time for these things. Today, we can only offer Miss Ye some simple home-cooked dishes. Please don't mind, Miss Ye, and try them to see if they suit your taste."

"Auntie, you're too kind. This is already a very generous meal. Your chef is very skilled. This roast chicken is fatty but not greasy, and the meat is not dry at all. It's especially fragrant. It tastes much better than what you get at those private restaurants."

As Ye Wanxi spoke, she picked up a large chicken leg and put it into her bowl, enjoying the meal immensely.

The Huang family's dining table is a rotating table, so you have to turn it to get to whatever you want to eat. After Ye Wanxi, the rest of the Huang family members started eating the roast chicken.

Just as the chicken was about to be turned in front of Sister-in-law Huang, Ye Wanxi suddenly raised her hand and turned the roast chicken back in front of herself.

Seeing the roast chicken that was almost in her bowl fly away, Sister-in-law Huang almost lost her composure and glared angrily at Ye Wanxi.

Ye Wanxi seemed oblivious, and stuffed another piece of roast chicken into her mouth.

Sister-in-law Huang watched longingly as she picked up a few pieces of chicken with her chopsticks, then subtly moved the roast chicken towards herself once again.

Just as she was about to grab the food after finally getting it to her, it was taken away again—again, by Ye Wanxi!

After this happened several times, most of the whole roast chicken was eaten, a small portion was eaten by Ye Wanxi, and the rest was eaten by the Huang family. Huang's sister-in-law didn't even get a piece of skin, let alone any meat.

That was bad enough, but when Ye Wanxi turned the roast chicken to her again, the little black dog in her arms suddenly barked and put its front paws on Ye Wanxi's wrist.

Ye Wanxi paused, glancing down at the roast chicken with her chopsticks, and said with a smile, "You want some too? Then I'll give you a bite."

As she spoke, Ye Wanxi picked up a large piece of roasted chicken from the plate and handed it to the little black dog.

This action completely snapped Sister Huang's nerves. Her face suddenly turned ferocious, and a muffled roar came from her throat, a sound that didn't seem human.

Brother Huang was the first to notice his wife's unusual behavior. His expression changed slightly, and he immediately tried to reach out and pull her, but Huang Mingrui held him back.

The moment Sister-in-law Huang let out a roar, Ye Wanxi put down her chopsticks with a loud thud.

Before anyone could even see her movements clearly, Ye Wanxi, who had been on the other side of the table, appeared behind Sister-in-law Huang, her right hand curling into a claw and suddenly landing on Sister-in-law Huang's neck.

"Zhenzhen!" Brother Huang was startled and jumped to his feet.

The others were also startled by this turn of events, looking at Ye Wanxi with surprise and confusion.

When Ye Wanxi grabbed Huang's neck, Huang's face was momentarily dazed. After realizing that this enemy was not as skilled as the previous inexperienced young and old Taoist priests, she immediately asked Brother Huang for help.

"Help me, Brother Yan, help me."

Seeing his wife like this, Brother Huang couldn't help but take a step forward, but his younger brother held him back tightly: "Brother, calm down, that's not your sister-in-law."

"Not... Zhenzhen?" Brother Huang stared wide-eyed at "Sister-in-law Huang" in disbelief.

Sister-in-law Huang's expression stiffened slightly. Enduring the pain in her neck, her eyes reddened: "Mingrui, how could you say that? Who else could I be but your sister-in-law?"

Sister-in-law Huang thought she had successfully played the victim, but to her surprise, Brother Huang quickly withdrew his step after hearing her words.

"Sister-in-law Huang": "..." Ha, what a dog of a man!

“You’re not Zhenzhen! Zhenzhen would never talk like that! Who are you? Where is Zhenzhen? What have you done to her?” Brother Huang became more and more agitated as he spoke.

Several elders also became anxious: "Miss Ye, what exactly happened?"

Ye Wanxi looked at "Sister-in-law Huang" who was still struggling, her eyes narrowed slightly, and she sneered: "This body does indeed belong to Mr. Huang's wife, but something has taken over her body."

Brother Huang's expression changed slightly: "You mean, Zhenzhen is possessed by a ghost? How is she now? Is she in danger? Miss Ye, please save my wife, save her!"

"Your wife is fine for now. She's just been possessed by this thing, and her soul is suppressed, so she's temporarily asleep. Once this thing leaves her body, she'll return to normal."

As soon as Ye Wanxi finished speaking, "Sister-in-law Huang," whose body had been possessed, shouted loudly, "You're dreaming! There's absolutely no way I could come out of her body. If you've got the guts, then kill us all!"
