"Are you looking for jobs?" the boss asked.

"Yes." Qin Yuanyao nodded, looking at the job posting sign in front of the door. Just as she was about to speak, a voice suddenly came from nearby.
Are you hiring waiters/waitresses?
The speaker was Guo Zhuyan.
He saw that they seemed to be hiring here, so he came over with Ye Rui and Guo Yicong.
"We need two waiters, 80 yuan each for a day's work. Children can also work, but they won't be paid," the boss said. "However, if anything is broken, there will be a deduction of ten yuan."
Qin Yuanyao was still calculating in her mind whether this deduction was a bit too harsh.

They saw that the clothing store was hiring sales staff, but because of Qin Yuanyao's hesitation, Feng Wenhe and Wu Ningwei successfully applied for the job with Feng Xuan.
After that, they walked the entire commercial street but didn't see any more shops hiring.
[Serves her right, can't find a job now, huh? What is Qin Yuanyao being so picky about? Other guests are more famous than her, and they're not as picky as her.]
[Clearly trash, yet pretending to be high and mighty, looking down on this job and that job]

While the comments section was filled with criticism of Qin Yuanyao, she didn't seem to regret or panic because she couldn't find any more job postings.
She had already made up her mind about how they would raise the travel expenses.
"Let's go back," Qin Yuanyao said.
"Aren't we going to look for jobs anymore?" Chi Nao asked curiously.
"Let's look for it." Qin Yuanyao smiled. "There's an old man selling apples up ahead. Let's help him sell his apples."
Chi Naoshi believed it without a doubt, nodded happily, and followed Qin Yuanyao back.
Are there any apple vendors up ahead? I don't see any. Has anyone seen one?
[I didn't see it either. Is Qin Yuanyao lying about cheese?]
Qin Yuanyao wasn't lying; the camera panned across the roadside where people were selling apples as they walked.
I vaguely remember that place, but I don't think there were any job postings there.
