Chapter 45 Dogs Bite Dogs

Upon hearing Wu Tian's words, the warriors of the Kingdom of Wales retreated like frightened birds, fearing that a light touch from the young warrior's fingertip would cost them their precious lives.

As fellow martial artists from the same country, and living in the same dojo, it's inevitable that some minor frictions will arise from their long-term interaction. It's not uncommon for this young martial artist to want to use Wu Tian to settle personal scores.

Upon seeing this, the young martial artist's eyes flashed with a complicated expression. He hurriedly waved his hands and said, "No, no, no, this matter is not for your trouble, sir. No... no one has bullied me. We have a very good relationship."

Upon hearing this, the tense nerves of the martial artists eased slightly, and a great weight was lifted from their hearts.

Wu Tian's lips curled slightly, a cold smile quietly blooming within them. His tone was calm yet meaningful: "Is that really so?"

"Yes...that's right." The young martial artist answered hastily, his words barely concealing his panic.

Wu Tian shrugged slightly, his helplessness evident in his expression: "It's a pity. I originally thought that I could sacrifice myself to ensure the safety of the others, but now it seems that they will all die."

These words were like a chilling wind sweeping through the hall, sending a shiver down everyone's spines and adding to their awe of this young Chinese man's unfathomable depth and untamed spirit.

This person is still young, but his cultivation is unfathomable. What's even more frightening is that he acts unconventionally, and the concepts of morality and righteousness seem unable to bind him.

Faced with such an existence, everyone felt helpless and powerless to resist.

The young martial artist's face turned ashen, caught in a dilemma, unwilling to sacrifice the innocent yet fearing total defeat.

He took a deep breath and said urgently, "Sir, could you please let me think about it before making a decision?"

Upon hearing this, Wu Tian smiled warmly, like the spring sun: "Of course, I'm always easy to talk to, and I'll do good deeds to the end. Sacrificing one person to save everyone's lives is extremely worthwhile."

Upon hearing this, although everyone knew that Wu Tian's words were gentle but his methods were actually forceful, the impulse to argue was deeply suppressed. Only their heartstrings were taut, and they were once again suspended in mid-air, unable to find peace.

The young martial artist's forehead was covered in a fine sheen of sweat, his eyes darting among the crowd, as if searching for a crack to escape this cruel choice.

He knew all too well that whichever path he chose would be an extremely heavy burden.

However, at this critical moment of life and death, he had to make his own choice.

Finally, his gaze settled on a man with a high ponytail and a small mustache.

"Ida-kun, I'm so sorry!"

The young martial artist uttered these words slowly, his tone filled with sincerity and regret.

The Japanese warrior named Ida's eyes widened in fury, and he roared, "Ono, are you insane? Why did you choose me? You...you don't mean to use me as a tool to kill someone and take my wife, do you?"

He knew perfectly well that Ono's choice was to send him to the gallows, sacrificing his life for the safety of everyone else.

But he didn't understand why Ono would choose him.

In an instant, old grudges surged forth like a tidal wave, engulfing the two.

Ono took a deep breath, her gaze resolute: "It's not what you say. I... I had no choice but to have you..."

"Shut up!" Jingtian roared in uncontrollable rage. "I pitied your loneliness in a foreign land and sent my wife to bring you warmth and companionship, but you dare to try to make her your private property!"

Ono exclaimed urgently, "Where did you get your wife to accompany me? It's clearly because you're impotent and you're worried that she'll find another man and you won't be able to control her, that's why you resorted to this drastic measure."

These words caused an uproar, and everyone's attention turned to this dramatic scene.

Wu Tian's lips curled into a playful smile. He secretly sighed that the actions of the Chinese were indeed extraordinary. If he hadn't seen and heard it with his own eyes and ears, he would hardly believe that such a "good story" existed in the world.

He coughed lightly, his tone calm yet carrying a hidden meaning: "It seems the feud between the two of you is quite extraordinary. Why don't you settle it yourselves first, and then discuss other matters?"

Before he finished speaking, Ida had already drawn his sword, pointing it directly at Ono, and declared resolutely: "Ono, in the name of the martial arts of our country, I challenge you!"

He understood that if Wu Tian wanted to take his life, it would be easy, but he still had a chance of winning against Ono.

Ono turned around abruptly, looked at Wu Tian, and pleaded, "Sir, you said you would kill him to save the lives of the others. Please do it quickly."

Wu Tian smiled amiably, his words embodying the integrity of the Chinese people: "We Chinese keep our word, but since Mr. Jingtian has issued a challenge, how can you, as a warrior of our country, refuse to fight? After all, personal honor is of paramount importance, isn't it?"

Upon hearing this, Ono's face turned deathly pale. He knew the gap in strength between himself and Ida, and that accepting the challenge would surely lead to his doom.

However, as a Chinese martial artist, if he does not accept the challenge from Ida in the name of Chinese martial arts, he will be laughed at by others even if he lives.

He knew that whatever choice he made would be difficult, but he never expected it to turn out this way.

Seeing that he hadn't spoken for a long time, Ida shouted loudly, "Ono, you're supposed to be a Japanese warrior, don't you even have the courage to accept a challenge?"

Ono slowly drew his katana, the gleam of the blade reflecting on his resolute face, his eyes filled with both determination and helplessness.

“Mr. Jingda, we have no enmity with each other, but today’s events are not what I wanted. Since you insist on fighting, then I will accompany you to the end.”

Ono's voice was deep and powerful, each word seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth, carrying an undeniable determination.

The atmosphere inside the dojo instantly became extremely tense, with all the martial artists' eyes focused on the two individuals. A thick stench of blood and tension filled the air.

Ida sneered, his figure suddenly lunging forward, the samurai sword in his hand transforming into a silver lightning bolt, aiming straight for Ono's vitals.

Ono was not to be outdone. He nimbly dodged the fatal blow and simultaneously swung his sword back at Ida's shoulder.

Their movements were swift and powerful, each clash accompanied by the clang of metal and the tearing of air. Their figures moved rapidly across the dojo, leaving afterimages that were too fast for the eyes to follow.

As time went by, their physical strength gradually waned, but their will became even stronger.

This is a battle for honor and life; they must all give it their all and cannot afford to slacken in the slightest.

Just as the battle was at a stalemate, with neither side gaining the upper hand, a thunderous roar suddenly rang out: "Stop!"

This sound, like a bolt from the blue, instantly froze the surrounding air.

Immediately following behind, a dignified figure strode out of a spotless white minivan.

He was dressed in the fine attire of a German warrior, with a German headband symbolizing honor and loyalty tied around his head, and a long and sharp samurai sword tightly in his hand.

With each step, the wooden clogs produced a distinctive, rhythmic thumping sound.

He strode directly between Ida and Ono, his eyes blazing with fury, and roared, "The enemy came to provoke you, and instead of fighting together, you turned on each other, disgracing the warriors of our great nation! You deserve to die!"

Before the words were finished, a sharp "clang" was heard, and a cold glint flashed by.

In an instant, blood gushed from the necks of Ida and Ono, like two beautiful, tragic springs of blood, blooming with a breathtaking and tragic beauty under the setting sun.
