Shen Qihe stiffened his body and patted Chu Yanyan on the back: “It’s okay, my brother is here.”

"Woo." Chu Yanyan was deeply moved and secretly made up his mind that since Aunt Chen and Shen Qihe were so good to them, he must protect them.

The fresh and pleasant smell of laundry soap filled her nostrils. Chu Yanyan raised her chin and rubbed Shen Qihe's chest, found a comfortable position, and then quickly fell asleep.

Shen Qihe hadn't expected that it would feel so good to hug the soft Chu Yanyan. He reached out and held the boy in his arms, pulled the thin sheet on one side, covered himself with it, closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep.

the next day.

When Chu Yanyan woke up, Shen Qihe was no longer in bed.

He rubbed his eyes, woke up sleepily, put on his slippers, opened the door and walked out, smelling the aroma of noodles. He looked at the man who was busy and said, "Brother, you have to get up so early."

"Hurry up and brush your teeth and wash your face." Shen Qihe glanced at him and said.

"oh."

After Chu Yanyan brushed his teeth and washed his face, he changed into his school uniform and put on the red scarf that had dried overnight, put on his socks and shoes, and came out of the room. He did not see Shen Qihe, but only saw steaming noodles on the dining table.

He walked into his grandmother's room, not knowing how she was doing.

"Grandma. Time to eat noodles." Chu Yanyan pushed open the door, stuck her head in and called out.

"Be good, Yanyan, put it on the table first. I'll take a nap and eat it when I wake up." Came the grandmother's voice.

"Okay." Chu Yanyan closed the door, walked to the cupboard, took out the dishes and walked to the faucet to wash the dishes.

After washing, he first took out a portion for his grandmother and then took a bowl for himself.

When Shen Qihe came in, he saw Chu Yanyan already eating noodles. Seeing that there was a bowl of noodles on the table, he couldn't help but laugh and walked over: "You even remembered to leave a bowl for me."

Chu Yanyan looked up and picked up chopsticks to stop Shen Qihe’s behavior: “This is left for grandma.”

Shen Qihe laughed, his tone sounding a bit pitiful: "What about mine?"

Chu Yanyan took back his chopsticks, placed them on the bowl, and got down from the stool: "Brother, wait a moment."

He went to the cupboard and took out a bowl and a pair of chopsticks.

Shen Qihe watched Chu Yanyan take it to the faucet to wash it clean, then walked to the dining table and picked up some noodles for him. After picking up a full bowl, he placed it in front of Shen Qihe, urging in his eyes: "Brother, eat."

Shen Qihe thought Chu Yanyan would throw a tantrum and say that if she wanted to eat, she could get the bowl herself. He didn't expect this to happen. Yanyan was so obedient: "Okay."

The noodles were obviously made by myself, but after Yanyan helped me pick them up, they tasted inexplicably delicious. After finishing a bowl, I picked up new noodles from the pot, and the taste was different.
