Rabbit and Phoenix 13

At first they didn't take it seriously.

Just like usual, I go to bed at night.

It was a misty morning, and the golden, cool sunlight shone into the woods and fell on them.

The phoenix was sleeping soundly when suddenly something stepped on it.

It opened its eyes, raised its wings, and saw the rabbit bumping around on it. "What's wrong? You don't have to get up so early."

"Who are you? Don't kill me!" The rabbit was so scared when he saw the huge bird that he trembled and quickly begged the bird to let him go.

"Hmm?" The phoenix was puzzled. It stretched its neck and sniffed the scent of the rabbit. It was the original rabbit, but the look in this rabbit's eyes seemed not to recognize it, or even to be afraid of it.

Why is it a bit similar to the beginning?

It realized this and asked softly, "You don't remember me?"

"Ah? Do I know you?" The rabbit was confused after hearing what the big bird said.

It tried hard to recall its memory, but its mind was blank, with no memory of the bird at all.

The phoenix took a deep breath and saw that the rabbit was as timid as before. "I am a phoenix. I don't eat meat, and I won't eat you either."

When the rabbit heard that the big bird would not eat him, his anxious heart calmed down.

However, it noticed the environment it was in, "Then why am I here?"

"Well, we've known each other before, but you seem to have forgotten." Fengniao explained.

"But you don't look like you know me?" the rabbit said sincerely.

The phoenix was ashamed. If any little monster dared to sleep in its nest, it would have killed it long ago. How could it have the patience to explain to the rabbit?

"I am a phoenix bird, and I am very fierce. If I don't know you, will I explain it to you?"

"Oh." After listening carefully, I found that what the big bird said was true.

"Rabbit, have you really forgotten? Then what do you still remember?"

"I remember I am a rabbit," said the rabbit.

"And then?" The phoenix waited for its next words.

"And then, nothing happened."

“…”

The phoenix had never felt so powerless. It didn't know why the rabbits had lost their memories and forgotten every detail of their previous lives.

My heart felt like it was being electrocuted.

The phoenix calmed himself down.

It took the rabbit to their vegetable garden, trying to help the rabbit regain its memory through the familiar environment.

"This is the vegetable garden we cultivated together. It's planted with the grass you like to eat." The phoenix said to the rabbit.

The rabbit looked at the grass in front of him, which was full of spiritual energy. He pulled up a piece of grass, put it in his mouth and chewed it for a while. His eyes lit up, "This is too delicious. Did I really grow this?"

Rabbit said in a slightly unsure tone.

"certainly."

"Can I try each one?"

"Okay, this is your grass, you can eat it however you want."

After getting the big bird's assurance, the rabbit immediately ran into the grass and tasted every kind of grass.

Mm, this is delicious. This is delicious.

When it was its turn to pull the radish, it looked at the orange-yellow part of the fruit, took a bite, and its ears stood up. It was so delicious!

After tasting every kind of grass and vegetable in the vegetable garden, the phoenix continued to take the rabbits to the places they often visited.

But the rabbit still couldn't figure it out.

The last stop is Qingjiao’s residence in the bamboo forest.

Qing Jiao listened to his friend's confession, then looked at the trembling rabbit hiding behind the phoenix, and couldn't believe it, "Your rabbit has lost its memory?"
