In the evening, Li Changle finally saw his father. He saw Li Zhenning dragging a tired body back home at around eight o'clock. In order to wait for him, the food prepared by Lu Chengying had gone cold.
"Dad, you're back. Let's eat." Li Changle saw that Li Zhenning seemed to have more white hair than the last time he came home, and his complexion was not as good as before. He couldn't help but sigh in his heart. This time, no matter what he said, he couldn't let his father continue to do this job.
"Changle, Yani, you are all back." Although Li Zhenning looked tired, he smiled with relief when he saw his children coming back. After all, their family had not had dinner together for more than half a year.

Li Zhenning said in a deep voice that the school Li Yani was admitted to was better than Li Changle's. When he was in his hometown, he invited the neighbors to hold a graduation party together. It was the pride of their family.
Because of this, Li Zhenning had high hopes for Li Yani. If Li Yani didn't even get her diploma, it would be embarrassing. He would also lose face, and he might even be gossiped about when he returned home.

"Well, Dad, Mom, I didn't mean to hide it from you. I was just afraid that you wouldn't be able to accept it..." Li Changle was going to explain anyway.
But Li Zhenning waved his hand and said, "It's okay, I know you did the right thing."
Li Changle was happy to see Li Zhenning so open-minded. Thinking of Li Zhenning's work, he decided to strike while the iron was hot:
"Dad, we don't need money right now. Why don't you just quit your job and resign tomorrow? It doesn't matter if you don't even get paid. If you lose your job, you're gone. But if you lose your health, you're really gone."

"Dad, if you're worried about having nothing to do after you quit, let's go buy a shop. You can do whatever you want, and I'll invest in you."
