Seeing Wang Siyi sighing, Li Changle stood behind Wang Siyi, put her hands on Wang Siyi's shoulders and rubbed them, and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Just now I felt an inspiration flash through my mind, but I caught it but not completely." Wang Siyi said in frustration, and then he pressed the piano keys heavily a few times, and suddenly a few low piano sounds rang out in the room.
Li Changle smiled, then casually reproduced the melody that Wang Siyi had just played on the piano. This was a piece of cake for Li Changle. He was watching Wang Siyi play, so he remembered clearly which key each note Wang Siyi played fell on.
The more Li Changle played, the more familiar the melody seemed to him. He frantically searched in his mind to see which song in his memory this melody was closest to. Sometimes having a good memory is not necessarily a good thing. It takes a long time to think of something.
Wang Siyi didn't know why Li Changle kept playing the melody she had just played. Even if she played it again and again, she couldn't imagine what the next melody would be like. After all, the inspiration was gone.
But after a while, Wang Siyi found something wrong. Li Changle seemed to be perfecting the melody he had just played, and the more Wang Siyi listened, the brighter his eyes became. This melody was exactly the feeling he wanted.
After Li Changle finished playing the entire piece, Wang Siyi eagerly asked, "Did you derive this piece from the improvisation I just played?"
Li Changle nodded guiltily. Although he felt guilty, he had already moved so many classic songs, so this one wouldn't be a big deal.
"I want to write lyrics for it and put it in the new album to be released later." Wang Siyi said excitedly.
Li Changle took Wang Siyi's hand, clasped their fingers together, and said with a smile, "Just now, when I was thinking about this song, a sentence came to my mind. Let's write the lyrics based on this sentence."
"What sentence?" Wang Siyi didn't care about Li Changle's little movements. She let him hold her hand and raised her head to ask in confusion.
Li Changle also raised his head and looked into their eyes, then said seriously, "I have always been by your side and never left."
