Program Mission 315

"Hello again, both of you."

Meng Wenjun greeted Li Changle and the others with a smile on his face.

Li Changle forced a smile at Meng Wenjun, "Hello, Director Meng..."

Li Changle hesitated to speak. He really wanted to know how this program would be recorded. He didn't know who came up with the idea, but what was certain was that from Meng Wenjun's tone, he could tell that he was somewhat unfriendly to both of their personalities.

Meng Wenjun continued to keep the secret with a smile: "The program hasn't started recording yet. We will announce all these during the recording. Just be patient, just be patient..."

Li Changle sighed and could only comfort herself in her heart, it doesn't matter, she's already here.

Wang Siyi, on the other hand, looked calm. She was used to Meng Wenjun's behavior of keeping people in suspense. All the variety show directors of big stations were like this. They just took things as they came. She seemed much calmer than Li Changle.

"Aren't you afraid that they will assign us random tasks?" Li Changle asked doubtfully when she saw Wang Siyi's contented look.

"No, the production team won't make it too difficult for us."

"What do you mean?" Li Changle asked in confusion.

Wang Siyi rolled her eyes and said, "This is a dating variety show, not a prank variety show."

"Alright, I'm sure you two are familiar with this episode's theme. Now, let's discuss how you two organized your fans to attend this small offline fan meeting organized by the program team without any online promotion."

The program finally started recording. Li Changle and Wang Siyi were sitting in front of the camera with their ears perked up, waiting for the program crew to announce the rules.

"We have already collected the contact information of 100 fans through offline registration this week. We will need two people to call each of them and invite them to attend this offline fan meeting. In addition, all fans need to complete the invitation this morning. Tomorrow afternoon, the program team will arrange for all fans to enter in an orderly manner. Regardless of the number of fans who come, the offline fan meeting will be held as usual."

"Also, the songs for this fan meeting need to be decided by both of you within one day. They can be your own songs, someone else's songs, or even new songs. You will have one day to prepare and rehearse, and the two guests should allocate their time wisely."

The staff who explained the rules were very serious and responsible, and their explanations were very detailed. At the end, they even kindly asked Li Changle and Wang Siyi if there were any rules that they didn't understand.

"Is there anything else you two don't understand? If so, please let me know immediately. Due to Teacher Li's schedule, our program schedule is relatively tight."

Li Changle breathed a sigh of relief after listening to the staff's explanation of the rules. Fortunately, it was just making a hundred phone calls, not handing out flyers on the street or something that would make people socially unlucky. The program crew was still quite conscientious.

"No problem, thank you very much." Li Changle said gratefully.

The staff member was clearly professionally trained. Although secretly a fan of Wang Siyi, they were still very dedicated when working. They said, "Then please, teachers, please move into the room. We have prepared a phone for you. Your main task this morning is to make these 100 calls."

Li Changle and Wang Siyi both nodded, stood up and followed the staff into the room. The room was quite simple, with two tables and a few chairs. There were two phones and two address books on the tables.

Li Changle and Wang Siyi looked at the layout of the room with great interest. After a while, all the staff members left. There were only a few photographers guarding the camera in the room. The two stared at each other for a long time, not knowing what to do.

"Dear guests, you only have one morning. You need to complete your task of making 100 calls this morning as quickly as possible."

Although there was no one in the room, it was obvious that there was still audio equipment in the room. The voice of the staff came from the loudspeaker in the room, and the two finally stopped staring at each other.

Li Changle scratched his head, regretting that he had not asked the program staff how they should talk to the fans on the phone to make them more convincing.

Li Changle obviously didn't feel comfortable asking now, and the staff weren't here. If he asked the question facing the camera, he might not get a response, and he might even be laughed at by the audience watching the show. Li Changle thought about it and decided to try it out first.

Li Changle is a man of action. He does what he says and just picks up the phone and calls the first number.

"Hello, are you Ms. Chen?" Li Changle said in what she thought was the softest voice, causing Wang Siyi next to her to get goose bumps all over her body.

"We are from the program team of Celebrities' Love, congratulations..." Before Li Changle could finish her words, the phone rang with a busy tone. The successful first call was declared a failure, leaving Li Changle with a helpless look on her face.

"Puchi..." Wang Siyi couldn't help laughing when she saw Li Changle's face full of despair after the call was hung up.

Li Changle looked at Wang Siyi who was gloating over his misfortune and complained, "What's wrong with these fans? They signed up themselves, but they hung up before they could even finish their words."

Wang Siyi commented bluntly, "The way you pinched your throat to speak was quite funny just now."

"But I see those salespeople, whether they're selling houses or insurance, all talk like this. Is there anything wrong with that?" Li Changle said indignantly.
