Chapter 113 The Red Spider Lily

The dream was too surreal; Fu Hange could sense A Zi's inner collapse, and that if she wasn't careful, she would be doomed.

She never saw Azi again. Another sunset came, and there were still five days left.

Fu Hange grew increasingly anxious; if she couldn't find Azi, she would also get lost here.

Fu Hange tried her best to stay awake. The scene before her was a sunset over the western mountains. She stood in the center of the red spider lilies, surrounded by thorns.

Fu Hange dared not take a step forward, for she would be pricked if she did. What a dazzling, alluring red it was, but too much red would burn one's eyes; the more dazzling something is, the more it can hurt.

Shi Qi appeared in front of her without her noticing. Fu Hange's mind went blank, and she instinctively called out his name.

"Shi Qi..."

"Azi, I've told you, there's no possibility for us."

Fu Hange roared, her emotions instantly collapsing: "No! I don't believe it! I was the one who met you first, why would you fall in love with someone else? Why can't you love me even a little bit?"

Shi Qi stood at the other end of the red spider lily, facing the setting sun. His long robe was slowly blown up by the wind, and from Fu Hange's angle, only half of his outline could be seen.

He said, "Love cannot be shared equally. If you love someone, you should love them wholeheartedly; if you don't love someone, you simply don't love them."

Okay, fine, what a nice "I don't love you" attitude.

Fu Hange smiled, the vibrant red spider lilies making her face appear even more alluring: "I didn't force you to love me, I just want you to stay with me forever. I know it's selfish, but I truly hope so..."

She was too humble, but even so, she couldn't earn Shi Qi's sympathy.

He remained unmoved and said calmly, "Azi, I don't want to hurt you. We were never meant to be together. You are the most noble princess, and I am not worthy of you."

"You deserve it, how could you not!"

Upon hearing this, Fu Hange immediately squatted down, grasped one of the spider lilies, plucked it out, and held it in her hand, saying, "This is my true love for you, unwavering until death, as heaven and earth can attest."

The vibrant red spider lilies mingled with Fu Hange's blood, making it impossible to distinguish who was bleeding and who was in pain. All she knew was that she couldn't imagine life without Shi Qi. She admitted she wasn't brave, but that was it.

Let's not be brave and keep going.

Shi Qi wanted to go forward to check on her injuries, but suddenly stopped. They shouldn't have too much contact. Since they were going to sever ties, they couldn't drag it out.

Shi Qi finally lowered his head and said, "I'm sorry."

sorry.

It seems he can't say anything more than those three words.

Fu Hange's heart was breaking. The man she had loved for so many years loved another woman, and she just couldn't let go of him.

She suddenly squatted down and murmured, "You'll never know how much I love you, you'll never know there's a woman waiting for you behind you. Do you know how heartless you are?"

“I know I’m heartless, but I can’t lie to you; it would be unfair to you.”

Fu Hange questioned him, "Is it fair for you to reject me? Why can't you give me even a little chance? Even just a tiny one would be better."

"sorry……"

It's still just this sentence.

Fu Hange smiled, a beautiful yet poignant smile.

Shi Qi didn't say anything more. As darkness fell, Shi Qi finally turned and left.

When it was completely dark, Fu Hange woke up with a start. Looking at the tears on her face, she was too shocked to speak.

She thought she must have just become Azi. Azi jumped off the cliff when she came in, and she was now taking Azi's place. Or perhaps, until she found Azi, she was Azi. The system had also said that excessive emotional fluctuations in dreams could lead to getting lost.

Her feelings just now were all caused by Azi.
