Fu Hange frowned, took another sip of coffee, and remained silent. She knew that Gu Yuan must have done this. No wonder he had gone to such lengths to get close to her at the beginning, asking her to resolve the publicity stunt and trying to bring down the Xu family. It seemed that he was determined to get everything he wanted.
The man finished speaking cautiously, then slowly observed Fu Hange's expression. Her smooth, fair face remained impassive. Fu Hange wasn't wearing makeup, nor did she have the habit of doing so; even so, it couldn't conceal her striking beauty.

At seven o'clock, Fu Hange walked into Mingheng. She was thinking about the rumors that Gu Yuan always left late, and wondered if she would be lucky enough to run into him today.
In the dimly lit office, a dark figure stood in the corner by the window. He was about 1.85 meters tall, with perfectly proportioned features, exuding the charm of a mature man. The office was already dark, and his motionless stance made him appear even more profound and reserved, like a mist that obscured one's direction.
Fu Hange took a deep breath, knocked on the door, and went inside. Gu Yuan heard the footsteps but remained unmoved, waiting for her to speak first.
"Why are you using such methods against me?" As expected, Fu Hange spoke first.
Gu Yuan slowly turned around, the room growing even darker, his cold indifference radiating from him: "What methods did I use?"
Fu Hange didn't want to beat around the bush with him, so she stared straight at him, knowing he understood what she meant.
The two remained silent, the atmosphere growing increasingly eerie, neither speaking first. Night fell, enveloping the entire house completely, leaving no gaps.
After a long while, Gu Yuan broke the deadlock with a light laugh. In the dark room, he was so handsome, like a star in the sky, that one couldn't take their eyes off him.
Gu Yuan has that kind of charm and the means to win; she can't outmaneuver him.
