No one spoke in the car anymore; it fell silent.
“This matter is all in the past, why are you bringing it up again? Bringing it up in front of me now is worthless! What exactly do you want?” He looked at her.
She didn't know why she brought it up, she just wanted to expose it. She just couldn't stand seeing the two of them always together; it was disgusting.
She didn't even know what she was saying, like a fool. Her voice was no less powerful than Gu Yuan's: "I just want your woman to see reality, to expose your wickedness to everyone, and to let them know what kind of hypocrite this business tycoon they admire really is."
Gu Yuan looked at Fu Hange as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world, and said, "I'm a hypocrite? Which eye of yours saw me and my assistant do anything inappropriate? We were just working, nothing more."
Bai Xin stood there dumbfounded, letting tears silently stream down her face. She didn't refute Gu Yuan's words, but silently grieved, acknowledging the truth.
Fu Hange felt instantly embarrassed. They hadn't done anything? Then why had Bai Xin followed him from the very beginning? Only now did she realize that Gu Yuan had undoubtedly taken her words as a joke; she had been acting like a clown in front of them. She didn't know what had gotten into her that led to this embarrassing situation.
But at least she had provoked Bai Xin, so she was quite satisfied. Noticing that the car had become quiet, she knew she was superfluous there, so she got up and got out of the car.
She got out of the car, and Gu Yuan immediately drove it away, dust flying into her face and nostrils.
When she got back, her face seemed to have some dirt on it. Bai Xin came over and asked, "Sister Xu, what's on your face? It's all black."
Fu Hange wiped her mouth and said, "It's nothing, the mad dog just spat a bunch of ash at me."
Jiang Xiaoling: "......"
These past few days, Fu Hange and Gu Yuan have been getting along peacefully. Fu Hange hasn't gone to pick up Gu Yuan again, and Gu Yuan hasn't contacted her either. The Xu family business is gradually getting back on track, and Jiang Xiaoling is also beginning to familiarize herself with her work.
It was rush hour, and Fu Hange had just finished packing her things and closed her office door when a text message suddenly came in: "Keep to the contract, or see you in court tomorrow."
Fu Hange slammed her phone to the ground with a loud crash, and the screen shattered into pieces instantly.
Jiang Xiaoling came running at the sound. Seeing the cell phone lying dead on the ground, she mustered her courage and asked, "Sister Xu, what happened?"
Fu Hange coldly said, "It's time to go home after get off work."
Then she picked up her phone, threw it in the trash can, and stormed off in her high heels.
Jiang Xiaoling was still standing there dumbfounded when Fu Hange walked down to the lower floor. The employees were still packing up their things, but when they saw her storming out, they immediately stopped what they were doing, stood up respectfully with their heads down, as if they were giving her a farewell party.
"Those who want to leave, leave now. Stop pretending here."
As soon as she finished speaking, there were hardly any people left. Fu Hange was both amused and exasperated. Was she really that scary? All she did was teach them a lesson a while ago, and they acted like she was a shrew.
For some reason, she remembered what Gu Yuan had said earlier that day, and felt a surge of annoyance. Fine, let's see him in court then. The contract didn't say anything about what would happen if she didn't comply, and she could afford a lawyer. She could just pay Gu Yuan some compensation and be done with it.
Her worries vanished, and she took the phone at the counter to call Liu Yunqi, asking her to come out for a big meal.
