Chapter 186 Words Against My Will

The voice wasn't loud, but it was enough for Gu Yuan to hear: "You've gone too far!"

A disdainful laugh came from the other end: "Too much? You're dependent on me for everything now, don't piss me off."

Gu Yuan spoke as ruthlessly as ever, and Fu Hange felt a tightness in her chest and her eyes stinging; she had a feeling she couldn't quite put her finger on.

Fu Hange had no choice but to submit to Gu Yuan. However, she was now working for Mingheng and living with Gu Yuan, so some clashes between them were inevitable. How to face Gu Yuan was a real headache for Fu Hange.

She picked up the pile of manuscripts and asked Gu Yuan, "Where is my office?"

Before Gu Yuan could reply, Bai Xin came out of the tea room with a cup of coffee, her face full of arrogance and her tone arrogant, deliberately humiliating Fu Hange: "President Xu is so confused. Now that you're here, you're an employee of Mingheng. But employees always work for their superiors, so you don't have an office."

Fu Hange was furious at these words. Bai Xin had given her a hard time the moment she arrived. All her emotions were written on her face, clearly intended to embarrass her. In front of Gu Yuan, Fu Hange raised her hand and slapped Bai Xin across the face, catching her completely off guard.

As if startled, Bai Xin looked at her in horror, and a handprint quickly appeared on her face. Her expression became extremely distorted, and her eyes were bloodshot, showing that she was trying her best to hold back her tears of grievance.

Fu Hange was truly afraid that Bai Xin would rush over at any moment and grab her by the neck to take her life. But Bai Xin didn't. She just covered her face and looked at Gu Yuan, as if she wanted Gu Yuan to stand up for her.

Fu Hange saw Gu Yuan walking towards them, then looked at Bai Xin's face, where the swelling and marks were even more pronounced and varied in depth. Gu Yuan turned around and scolded Fu Hange: "Are you just so prone to causing trouble?"

Fu Hange stood frozen in place, seeing Gu Yuan's sharp eyes and terrifyingly gloomy face. Although she knew he liked Bai Xin, she never imagined he would one day be cursing her because of Bai Xin. Her heart sank to the bottom, but she forced a defiant stance: "You two really are a match made in heaven, always cursing people no matter the reason."

"A match made in heaven..." Even hearing Fu Hange say these words made her heart ache. She clearly hoped they would break up soon, yet she still had to say such insincere things.

Gu Yuan stopped arguing with Fu Hange and sat back down to rest, leaving all the odds and ends to Fu Hange. Fu Hange slowly moved the pile of things to Bai Xin's desk. Bai Xin had a private office, which was right across from Gu Yuan's. The two of them faced each other through the glass and could see each other just by looking up.

Fu Hange had a sudden inspiration and directly occupied Bai Xin's office, sitting in her chair and crossing her legs.

This action nearly made Bai Xin bleed with anger. She stomped over in her high heels, making a loud thud on the floor, her face flushed red from head to toe. She pushed aside the pile of things Fu Hange had placed on the table and dragged Fu Hange up, saying, "Who gave you permission to sit in my seat?"

Fu Hange saw that Bai Xin was absolutely furious, her eyes were red with anger, her hair was practically on fire, and the veins on her hands were bulging. She must be suffering terribly from having nowhere to vent her anger. But this pleased Fu Hange greatly. It would be best if she were driven to her death; she wouldn't have to pay with her life. And Bai Xin was indeed so despicable; she deserved to be angry.

Fu Hange glanced at Gu Yuan across from her. He had fallen asleep in his chair, probably exhausted from all of this.
