"What are you doing?" Li Li stepped forward, grabbed Tong Meng's hand, and scolded him.
Now that the focus had shifted, Tong Meng shook off Li Li's hand and roared, "I was just teaching a lesson to someone who doesn't do their job properly! Whose side are you on anyway? You helped her last time, and now you're going against me because of her. Do you even want to get married anymore?"
Fu Hange had expected a huge argument, but thankfully Li Li was well-mannered and didn't argue with her. Instead, he came over and checked her face with concern, asking gently, "Are you alright?"
Fu Hange shook her head, indicating that she was fine.
"It's not too bad, applying ice when you get home will help a lot." Li Li's hand touched her face, and Fu Hange took a step back sensitively.
Tong Meng pulled Li Li away: "What are you doing!"
While the two were still arguing, Fu Hange quickly fled the scene. If it weren't for the fact that she was Li Li's wife, she really wanted to slap Tong Mengye to let her know that she wasn't someone to be bullied.
After leaving, I hailed a taxi and went back to the Yuan family's house.

She didn't know any of Mingheng's employees, so naturally she didn't have their phone numbers. After thinking for so long, the only person she might be with was Bai Xin, but she definitely couldn't bring herself to call Bai Xin.
She had unknowingly fallen asleep on the sofa, without even a shawl draped over her shoulders, and only woke up when she heard the sound of the engine being turned off outside. Gu Yuan didn't seem too drunk. He let go of Bai Xin's hand and drifted off to sleep on the sofa.
Fu Hange preemptively asked, "Why is he with you?"

Bai Xin raised an eyebrow, a faint smile playing on her lips, and her voice became unsettling: "That depends on who you met and what you did during the day."
During the day? Didn't she just go to deliver the manuscript? What else did she do? Is Bai Xin trying to frame her first, slandering her in front of Gu Yuan?
She wouldn't admit to things she didn't do, showing no remorse whatsoever: "I only went to deliver manuscripts during the day, I didn't do anything else, what exactly are you trying to say?"
Bai Xin was extremely pleased with herself and moved even closer to Fu Hange, her voice hovering in her ear: "Then let me ask you, did you have a fight with Tong Meng this afternoon?"
She answered, "Yes."
Bai Xin continued, "Did she slap you?"
"yes."
Bai Xin became even more smug, and then spoke each word carefully: "That's right, you confessed without being asked. This afternoon I saw Tong Meng hit you with my own eyes, but Li Li spoke up for you and even touched your face with such concern. I can't even find the words to describe your ambiguous relationship."
Fu Hange felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She suddenly understood that Bai Xin must have said something even more hurtful to Gu Yuan, which caused him to come home so late and even come back with Bai Xin.
Just as he was about to explain, Bai Xin preemptively said, "I knew you wouldn't accept this. I have video evidence. I wonder if this behavior counts as infidelity?"
This matter is not so easy to resolve. Bai Xin has been jealous of her for a long time, and even if it's just a rumor, with Bai Xin's instigation, it would be strange if Gu Yuan didn't believe it.
