She knew he was still bothered by it, so she explained, "Then give me that video, and I'll see what it showed me."
Gu Yuan became even more agitated: "So you're admitting that you did have contact with other men?"
What kind of logic is this? It's getting more and more nonsensical.
She was so anxious that she was practically gesturing wildly: "I did go to see Tong Meng that day, but I was just delivering a manuscript to her. And if you don't show me the video, how am I supposed to know what's in it? Maybe someone is framing me."
Gu Yuan was clearly tired. He rubbed his nose and released his hand from Fu Hange's waist. "I don't want to discuss this with you right now. If you have nothing to do, go home. Don't stay here."
Are they trying to kick her out? She's determined not to leave; she's staying here today.
Gu Yuan frowned: "Get out of here."
Seeing that he was getting agitated, Fu Hange insisted on pushing her limits, wrapping her legs around Gu Yuan even tighter, leaning her whole body forward, and reaching out to hug Gu Yuan's neck, without saying a word.
"I don't want to say it a second time, just let go."
Fu Hange is determined to leave today. Bai Xin is always with him, and she was only here for a short while before being chased away. She is not willing to accept this, and besides, she is his legal wife. Why should she leave?
With her head buried against Gu Yuan's neck, Fu Hange's breath brushed against Gu Yuan's ear. He turned his face away, refusing to look at her. He didn't know what was wrong with this woman today; she was clinging to him like this, and he couldn't do anything about it.
The office fell silent. Those outside, assuming everything was settled, smiled and tactfully left.
Bai Xin returned as soon as these people left. Seeing so many people dispersing from Gu Yuan's office, she couldn't understand why. She grabbed one of them and asked, "What's wrong, Mr. Gu?"
"Mr. Gu is doing very well; he has a beautiful woman accompanying him inside."
He laughed and left after saying that.
Bai Xin rushed in immediately. Knowing the password, the office door was opened, and she saw Fu Hange lying on top of Gu Yuan, who let her lie there.
She immediately flew into a rage: "What are you doing? This is a company, a workplace!"
Despite her irritability, Bai Xin still made sure to close the door to prevent outsiders from seeing her.
Being caught like this made Fu Hange feel embarrassed, but since Gu Yuan didn't say anything, she didn't move either.
Bai Xin walked over and tugged at her: "Fu Hange, get down here!"
"No!" She clung to Gu Yuan like a spoiled child.
Gu Yuan nudged her, and Fu Hange looked at him in disbelief. Did he really despise her? She thought that after he carried her out of the ditch, Gu Yuan's feelings for her were different, and she thought there was still a possibility between them.
It seems she really was overthinking things. She showed none of her earlier shamelessness, easily flipping off Gu Yuan. But instead of leaving, she looked at Bai Xin, waiting for her to continue.
She forcefully pulled Fu Hange away, and after maintaining a certain distance from Gu Yuan, she said, "President Xu, you are, after all, a manager of Xu's Group. Don't you know that you can't be so unrestrained during working hours?"
Since Bai Xin had the nerve to say that, Fu Hange wasn't afraid of offending her. She found a seat and sat down, retorting in the most comfortable posture: "Why can't we do other things during work hours? Our relationship is protected by law. So, it's not wrong for me to come see my husband, is it? But you, what gives you the right to criticize me?"
