Chapter 248 Stunned

After the dance, Gu Yuan pulled her aside to rest.

She asked tentatively, "Don't mind what happened just now. I just wanted to tease that person."

Gu Yuan took a sip of red wine and then said, "I don't want to see a next time."

Fu Hange immediately agreed.

During the conversation, a waiter quietly leaned close to Gu Yuan's ear and said, "Mr. Gu, the reporters at the door all claim they want to interview you?"

Gu Yuan frowned: "Do you know why?"

The waiter shook his head.

Gu Yuan waved his hand and left.

Fu Hange saw him and was about to ask a question when he said first, "Is someone outside trying to interview me?"

"Why?"

"I don't know yet, but something must have happened, otherwise they wouldn't have made it all the way here."

Fu Hange was shocked. She never thought that Gu Yuan would be burdened with this kind of public opinion. She thought that with his status, no one would dare to touch him. Now that she heard him say it himself, she was actually a little scared.

Soon, the organizer came to find Gu Yuan, looking anxious: "Mr. Gu, the reporters at the door are all claiming they want to interview you, and this is seriously affecting us. Do you think it would be convenient for you to step in..."

Gu Yuan's expression turned somber: "I understand."

After saying that, he took Fu Hange's hand and walked out.

Reporters immediately swarmed around them at the entrance, bombarding them with questions.

"Mr. Gu, what is your opinion on the plagiarism incident involving Mingheng Group?"

"Qing, are you really suspected of plagiarism as the outside world is saying?"

"It is said that this wedding ring from Mingheng is exactly the same as the design of a certain group. What is your explanation for this?"

Gu Yuan was sandwiched in the middle, while Fu Hange was pushed to the back by the group of reporters, some distance away from Gu Yuan.

Despite being bombarded with questions from reporters, Fu Hange's icy face remained completely expressionless.

He stood in the middle, his voice neither too loud nor too soft: "I don't think it's necessary to answer some of these unfounded rumors. If you don't want to be fired tomorrow, you'd better leave now. I can't guarantee I won't bring down your boss."

After he finished speaking, none of the reporters present dared to ask any further questions. They looked at each other for a few seconds, then fled in panic.

Fu Hange felt like it was all a play. He stood in the very center, and with just one sentence, he scared everyone away. Her man truly was the most handsome.

Fu Hange walked to his side and took his arm: "I believe you."

Gu Yuan turned his head to look at her. Her face looked sweet at that moment, making him want to kiss her, but in the end he just ruffled her hair and said, "Let's go home."

Then he took her hand and walked away.

Fu Hange took a shower when she got home. After she came out, Gu Yuan was flipping through a magazine on the sofa, not worried about the plagiarism at all.

Her hair was a little wet, and she walked towards Gu Yuan with a towel draped over her head. "What do you think about what happened tonight?"

Gu Yuan continued flipping through the magazine, completely unconcerned. "It's just hearsay; there's no need to pay attention to it."

Fu Hange frowned: "If this gets out, it will have a big impact on you. And since you didn't do it, why don't you clarify it to my face?"

Gu Yuan put down the magazine in his hand, looked at her with deep eyes, and smiled slightly: "You know the rules of this circle. The more you explain, the less clear it will be. Besides, since this matter is directed at me, it means it was all arranged. Let's just wait and see."

Fu Hange was stunned. From the moment Gu Yuan brought her back until now, he hadn't mentioned that matter at all. She thought he didn't care at all, or hadn't thought about it carefully. It turned out he had already thought it through.
