The more indifferent he was to Bai Xin, the more smug she became. She even started imagining Gu Yuan's expression when he saw this.
She handed one of the photos to Gu Yuan, "Aren't you going to take a look?"
Gu Yuan's gaze inadvertently fell upon a familiar silhouette, and his face immediately darkened. He grabbed the person and, upon recognizing who it was, his face turned completely black.
He tightened his grip on the photo. "Where did you get this?"
Bai Xin became even more arrogant, secretly pleased with himself.
These past few days she's had people investigate Fu Hange's whereabouts, but they can't find anything on her. However, she heard that Fu Chengyi of Chenyuan Group has disappeared, which immediately connected it to the previous plagiarism incident.
Sure enough, even across the ends of the earth, she found irrefutable evidence that Fu Hange and he were together!
Bai Xin leaned against the table, looking languid and affectionate: "This is something I had someone find in the countryside. As you can see, they are indeed together."
Gu Yuan's eyes were bloodshot, and his face was ashen. He said in a low voice, "Why should I believe you?"
"The evidence is irrefutable; President Gu will not doubt it."
Even if he was resisting in his heart, his expression clearly betrayed him; he cared a lot! It was impossible not to believe him.

Bai Xin continued to fan the flames: "As far as I know, Fu Hange and Fu Chengyi were having an affair in the countryside. I don't know how much they've betrayed you. So in my opinion, you should get a divorce as soon as possible."
Gu Yuan remained silent with a dark expression.

The desolate office was empty except for Gu Yuan.
He stared at the photo, lost in thought. The woman in it was indeed Fu Hange, without a doubt. Fu Chengyi sat beside her, chatting and laughing with her. The smiles on both of their faces were unusually gentle; she had never shown such an expression when she was around before.
She always gave him a gloomy face.
Gu Yuan felt a throbbing pain in his temples, and his internal organs felt as if they were being pulled out. He even had difficulty breathing.
When that incident first came out, all the evidence pointed to her, and she didn't refute it. Even so, he still didn't quite believe it. But he never expected that the reason she didn't explain was that she went to the countryside with Fu Chengyi to fool around.
All this time, he missed her so much and even sent people to inquire about her whereabouts, and this woman treated him like this!
This is what it feels like to have your sincerity trampled on; he couldn't find any other words to describe it.
Gu Yuan left work unusually early today. He used to work overtime until 7 p.m., but today he left at 5 p.m., even earlier than the employees. This had never happened before at Mingheng.
