Hesitation leads to trouble.
She didn't believe it before, but now she does.
Gu Yuan didn't leave that night; the two slept in different beds but dreamed the same dream.
We dream of each other.
But when I woke up, everything was covered up by tears.
Fu Hange had dark circles under her eyes and some tear stains. She washed her face with hot water and stared blankly at the dressing mirror.
She looked somewhat dazed in front of the mirror. She hadn't looked at herself properly in so long and realized that she had become quite haggard, but her beauty was still undeniable. Her pale lips were devoid of any color, but even so, she was like a figure in a painting, stunningly beautiful.
She then applied some makeup to cover her dark circles and try to make herself look less haggard.
As soon as he opened the door, he bumped into Gu Yuan's chest. Gu Yuan frowned slightly, then quickly walked away.
Fu Hange poured a glass of water for Gu Yuan, who was sitting on the sofa.
Then he asked, "May I leave now?"
"You really want to leave here?" he said sarcastically again.
Fu Hange pursed her lips: "Or you can not let me leave, but could you lend me your charger? My phone is dead."
It's been many days since we last had electricity, and looking back now, I don't know how I survived in such primitive conditions.
"What? You want to contact that guy surnamed Fu?" he suddenly asked.
Fu Hange had no idea how to answer. Every word he uttered revolved around Fu Chengyi. Was he thinking about how she had cheated on him? But she had already explained it to him. Why wouldn't he believe her?
She knew that no matter how she answered, it would be wrong, so this time she simply shut up and chose to avoid answering.
The butler intervened just in time: "Would Mr. Gu like something to eat?"
Only then did Fu Hange realize that she had gotten up early in the morning to argue with Gu Yuan and hadn't even eaten a bite of food yet.
"Two bowls of plain porridge will do," Gu Yuan said.
Plain porridge? When did they become so poor that they needed to drink plain porridge?
Fu Hange squinted and asked, "Why do we need plain porridge?"
"Because I want to drink."
A reason that feels perfectly natural.
She admitted it!
The housekeeper paused for a moment, then went into the kitchen.
When the congee was served, Fu Hange took a sip and thought it was pretty good. She drank several bowls in one go.
"Who was it that was so reluctant to eat this just now?" Gu Yuan asked her coldly.
Fu Hange remained silent, because in his current temperament, whatever she said was wrong.
She drank several bowls of wine, and only after putting down the bowls did she realize that Gu Yuan hadn't gone to the company today.
She tilted her head and asked him, "Why didn't you go to the company today?"
"Didn't you want me to come back?" She even tried every means to get him to come back.
"......"
He drank plain porridge because he wanted to cool down; he had just woken up and talked to her about Fu Chengyi, which made him very unhappy.
Gu Yuan stayed here after breakfast. Fu Hange sat on the sofa some distance away from him, watching TV.
But TV wasn't interesting, so she wanted to play on her phone.
I tentatively asked, "Could you lend me your charger?"
Gu Yuan was silent for a few seconds, then said, "Do you think a normal person would carry a charger with them at all times?"
"......"
It was exactly the same answer as the butler's!
Fu Hange retorted, "Can't you just go and buy one for me?"
"Why should I buy it for you?" He looked at her with amusement.
As long as they are not divorced, she is still his wife.
Finally, Fu Hange timidly uttered a few words: "Fine, if you're not going to buy it for me, then forget it."
