The lamplight made him appear like a man-eating beast, his eyes fixed on nothing. His eyes, in particular, made him a perfect embodiment of the devil, and this sight terrified her.
Gu Yuan didn't give her time to think and tore her clothes to shreds in a few quick moves.
"Are you crazy?" Fu Hange roared.
She had never seen Gu Yuan so out of control, nor had she ever seen him like this.
Gu Yuan lifted her chin, his warm and alluring breath brushing against her face.
"I'm insane! You've been cheating on me with that bastard Fu Chengyi, and now I can't even touch you?"
"Shut up!"
She seemed extremely angry; her whole body was trembling, and her soft breathing reached Gu Yuan's ears.
This was the loudest and most infuriating she'd ever yelled at him since she'd known him. He always accused her of having an affair with Fu Chengyi, but had he really seen anything? And when had she ever spoken to him about his relationship with Bai Xin? Why was it always him who started yelling at her?

Fu Hange then realized that she was naked in bed, and Gu Yuan was right next to her, witnessing her entire naked body.
She couldn't help but pout and say, "Don't look!"
"You were the one showing this to me." Gu Yuan looked completely innocent.
That's outrageous!
"If you're not going to sleep, please get up. Don't disturb my nap."
"Who says I'm not sleeping? I'll watch you sleep." He smiled broadly, as if nothing had happened last night.
Fu Hange pulled the blanket over her head, covering herself completely. She felt really uncomfortable being scrutinized like that.
"You've already seen it, what's there to be shy about?" Gu Yuan teased her again from outside the blanket.
Actually, it would have been better if he hadn't said these things. Because saying them gave her a strange, unsettling feeling. She was afraid that she would fall into it again and have a fruitless unrequited love for him like before.
"Come out, I have something to tell you." Gu Yuan's voice rang out again from outside.
Fu Hange mumbled from under the covers, "You think I'd believe that?"
"Are you sure you don't want to listen? This concerns your company."
Upon hearing this, Fu Hange immediately pulled back the covers, poked her head out, and looked at him like a little woman.
