His unreasonable and arrogant manner left Fu Hange with no room to retaliate.
"You've been out for so long today, who did you go to see?" he asked persistently.
"They went to the Xu family's place."
Perhaps she herself didn't realize how pale and powerless her answer seemed in Gu Yuan's eyes.
He grabbed Fu Hange and yelled, "Did you go see that bastard Fu Chengyi? Tell me!"
Fu Hange simply couldn't stand his outburst of temper. She forcefully opened his hand, almost roaring, "Can you please stop questioning me like this? I'm a human being, please show me some respect."
Gu Yuan seemed furious, grabbing her hand and asking, "I don't respect you? Isn't it enough that I let you go to the Xu family?"
"You have no right to restrict me. Letting me go to the Xu family is what you should have done!" She got angry.
Gu Yuan moved his face closer to hers, his eyes blazing with fury as if he wanted to set her on fire. "You think you've gotten any tougher now? You dare to talk back to me?"
Fu Hange didn't want to continue talking to him. She knew that if she brought it up, he would be furious. So she simply pulled away from his sight and ran upstairs by herself. Just as she was about to close the door, Gu Yuan squeezed in through the gap.
"What are you doing?" Fu Hange roared.
"What do you think I should do?"
In an instant, he had her pinned down, his hot breath spraying onto her face.
"It seems I still can't be too lenient with you."
After saying that, he kissed her lips, roughly and violently, without a trace of tenderness.
Fu Hange's lips were bitten and bled, the taste of blood spreading between them. She wanted to cry out in pain, but found that her lips were completely blocked by Gu Yuan, and she couldn't make a sound.
After a brief struggle, Gu Yuan finally released her, and Fu Hange quickly gasped for breath beneath him.
"You are no longer allowed to meet with Fu Chengyi alone."
He continued to ramble on to himself.
Fu Hange suddenly found it inexplicably funny. When did she ever say she was going to meet Fu Chengyi? How could this person be so prone to overthinking and so brainless? Where did the man who was so capable in the business world go?
"Did I say that I met with Fu Chengyi?" she asked, amused.
Gu Yuan's anger seemed to have subsided a bit. "Then why did you come back so late?"
"Guess?" she teased him deliberately.
"Then I'll go see Fu Chengyi," he said firmly.
Fu Hange was truly impressed by the man's imagination; how could he be so imaginative?
She didn't beat around the bush and said directly, "I did only go to the Xu family."
"What are you going to do?" he seemed to be questioning her.
Fu Hange was very dissatisfied with his tone, so she deliberately didn't answer him.
Gu Yuan grew impatient and pressed her to ask, "Tell me quickly."
"I've told you, can you grant my request?"
What are the requirements?
Fu Hange explained the whole story to him, but omitted the fact that the Xu family needed funds.
"So you really only went to the Xu family?" He was still a little skeptical.
"If you don't believe me, there's nothing I can do," she said haughtily.
Gu Yuan squinted and asked, "So what was your request just now?"
Fu Hange was considering whether to tell him. What if he got angry at her again and became uncontrollable like before?
She paused, then slowly said, "The Xu family is no longer able to function after what happened last time."
Gu Yuan squinted at her, "So?"
