Chapter 354 Unsuccessful

She loved him, but he didn't know, because what had happened before had made her completely disappointed in him.

He loved her, but she didn't know. Because he thought she didn't love him, he never dared to express his love again.

After this, we might really never see each other again.

Gu Yuan agreed to the divorce. After that, her life was once again all about being alone. She ate alone, slept alone, faced the world alone, and fought against reality alone.

Gu Yuan had left sometime earlier, and Fu Hange was awakened by knocking on the door.

Xu Haicang's voice echoed in her confused mind: "Yan Yan, what time is it? Are you ready? The wedding is about to begin."

Fu Hange dragged her tired body to her feet, then looked at herself in the mirror. For some reason, she looked so haggard. There was another knock on the door. Fu Hange gave a brief reply and began to change into her bridesmaid dress.

She slowly opened the door, and Xu Haicang immediately praised Fu Hange when he saw her like this.

“My daughter will always make me proud.”

Fu Hange ignored him and walked straight outside. Just as she reached the bottom of the stairs, she stumbled and missed a step. Xu Haicang quickly grabbed her, saying, "How could you be so careless?"

Fu Hange snapped out of her reverie and realized what she had been doing; she had been so lost in thought. She said "It's nothing" and walked outside again. The wedding arrangements had been made long ago; only the couple was missing. Guests arrived one after another, but the main characters of the day had not yet appeared.

"Go ahead," Xu Haicang urged her from behind.

Fu Hange slowly walked towards Liu Yunqi, passing by Gu Yuan and brushing past him.

Fu Chengyi arrived at that moment and stood beside Fu Hange, asking, "Am I late?"

She replied perfunctorily, "No." The emcee's voice rang out, "Let's welcome the bride and groom into the room."

Fu Hange immediately stood behind Liu Yunqi, and Fu Chengyi followed suit, standing behind Xu Yi. The four of them slowly walked in, each carrying a different emotion.

Liu Yunqi walked ahead with a polite smile, while Fu Chengyi seemed to be enjoying the feeling of walking side by side with Fu Hange at the wedding. Perhaps one day, he could also be a true protagonist like her.

Only Fu Hange and Xu Yi knew that this was nothing more than a charade.

What Xu Yi didn't know was that in the guest seats, Gu Yuanzheng was looking at her with a dark face, his eyes filled with an unreadable emotion.

In the blink of an eye, they had arrived at the front, with the emcee standing beside them.

Then came the question about the vow of swearing an oath regardless of life, old age, sickness, or death, but Fu Hange didn't hear a word of it; her mind was in a state of confusion.

She glanced casually at the guest seats and happened to meet Gu Yuan's deep, angry eyes. She was startled awake, her heart pounding. Everything that had just happened upstairs was still vivid in her mind.

He was staring at her as if admiring a painting, making her feel extremely uncomfortable. His long legs were crossed, and his hands were placed naturally on his abdomen, looking at her with an air of knowing everything.

Fu Hange clearly noticed that there was a sarcastic smile on his lips, as if to say, "You're really something."

Fu Hange felt increasingly uneasy as she stared at Gu Yuan. She shifted her gaze away from Gu Yuan and tried to find Jiang Xiaoling below.

Unfortunately, she didn't find it.

As the time for exchanging wedding rings approached, Fu Hange began to worry. If things continued like this, there would be no way to elope. Would they really have to get married?
