Chapter 391 Suddenly Facing

Fu Hange gradually felt that the person pressing down on her had become much gentler, and the movements had shifted more towards caresses.

Afterwards, Gu Yuanfang pushed her away, lay down next to Fu Hange, and asked softly, "Did I hurt you?"

pain?

Fu Hange sneered inwardly. It seemed that this was the word that had accompanied her for so long: pain, pain, and more pain. The physical pain was nothing compared to the pain in her heart.

What is pain? What is the absence of pain?

It's just a matter of how others treat your love.

"You know what? From the moment I first met you, I felt you were a dangerous person and that I should stay away from you. But I was wrong. I chose to get close to you, but it turns out you're really scary now."

Fu Hange's voice echoed ethereally within the enormous room.

Gu Yuan turned to look at her after hearing this, and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Fu Hange didn't say anything more.

He is indeed a dangerous person; the closer you get, the more you'll burn. Because in his eyes, women are unimportant; he doesn't love her, and her one-sided devotion has led to this situation.

Gu Yuan didn't force her to say anything. The bedroom was unusually quiet, quieter than ever before, as still as death.

Perhaps they should both think about how to continue this relationship, how to end it, or whether to continue maintaining it.

Love is an adventure; if you dare to gamble, you will lose. Fu Hange lost, Gu Yuan lost, and they all lost to time.

It's just that time has given them so many things, pulling their hearts further and further apart.

Can a sail that has veered off course ever find its shore?

Gu Yuan turned off the light and then lay down next to Fu Hange.

The silence was impassive, each of them lost in their own thoughts.

Fu Hange couldn't sleep that night. Too many things were on her mind, leaving her no time to think them through.

Is all of this her fault for wanting to marry Gu Yuan back then, and now for desperately trying to stay away from him?

Would things really be better if it ended? Even if we never see each other again, at least it would alleviate the current pain.

But where could she go if she left him? A lonely heart is tired and can't find a safe haven. Although Gu Yuan can't be said to love her, he can provide her with all the material comforts she needs.

I don't know how long I was thinking, but it suddenly got light.

She lay on the bed like that all night.

Gu Yuan, who was beside her, seemed to move as well, turning around to face her.

Fu Hange blinked awkwardly a couple of times, "Could you turn around?"

Gu Yuan asked her, amused, "Why do I have to turn around, and not you?"

Before he could finish speaking, Fu Hange turned her back to him.

Does this woman have to be so serious?

Gu Yuan tried to move closer to her and reached out to hug her.

Fu Hange exclaimed in surprise, "What are you doing?"

"Don't move, let me hold you for a while."

His large hand rested on her stomach, warm and strong.

Fu Hange could clearly feel her heart racing, each beat a frantic, erratic rhythm.

Why do I still have this feeling? It turns out I'm still so useless.

"What do you mean?" she asked softly.

His actions only gave her a false sense of security, a feeling of butterflies in her stomach.

Gu Yuan rested his head on her neck, his warm breath brushing against it. "I just wanted to hug you now. As a business partner, can't I even give you a hug?"

Fu Hange then realized he was referring to their mutual exploitation. They maintained the relationship so he could go to Bai Xin, while she acted as a cover.
