Bai Xin turned around and looked at her directly. "What? Are you the only one allowed to come, but I'm not?"
"What do you mean? Have you gone crazy enough? If you want to throw a tantrum, go back to your place!" Fu Hange roared.
"No!" Bai Xin roared.
Fu Hange didn't want to pay attention to her and turned to leave, but she was pulled back after taking just one step.
She turned her head and saw Bai Xin grabbing her wrist. She frowned and said, "What do you mean by this?"
Bai Xin remained unconvinced and said with a smile, "Don't you want to know why President Gu brought you here today?"
Fu Hange paused subconsciously, then realized what she meant and said with a smile, "What a coincidence, I didn't want to know anyway."
When has Bai Xin ever come to see her with good news? If she has to learn such cruel things every time, she'd rather be a fool.
Fu Hange gave a perfectly natural smile: "You should save your kindness for someone else. I don't need it. I won't believe a single word you say."
Bai Xin raised an eyebrow: "Really? You must have been very upset about what I told you last time, right?"
"Shut up!"
She found Bai Xin disgusting. She kept trying to sow discord between her and Gu Yuan behind their backs, and now she even had the nerve to come to her in front of her. She was truly shameless.
But Bai Xin seemed even more smug, her smile a perfect 360-degree grin that was both sarcastic and disgusting—the kind of scheming woman who couldn't remember a single good thing about others.
As she spoke, she made facial expressions: "You know what? Yesterday, President Gu clearly told me that I could attend the charity gala tonight, but I suddenly felt unwell, so he reluctantly asked you to come instead."
After saying that, she burst into laughter, which was incredibly affected.
Out of a sense of moral responsibility, Fu Hange did not kill her on the spot.
She retorted sarcastically, "In that case, why don't you come back and stay with him? I don't want to stay here any longer, lest I become as disgusting as you all."
After saying that, Fu Hange quickly left in her high heels, leaving Bai Xin standing unwillingly in front of the bathroom mirror.
Actually, it wasn't that she was feeling unwell; it was just that she knew about this matter, but Gu Yuan hadn't told her or invited her. However, she had achieved her goal by making Fu Hange angry, so thinking about it that way, it wasn't a bad deal.
Fu Hange returned to the same spot and sat down next to Gu Yuan again.
"Why did it take so long?" he asked impatiently.
Fu Hange calmly replied, "Doesn't it take time to go to the toilet?"
"Who offended you to speak so rudely?" he asked, looking at her.
Fu Hange was too lazy to explain to him and sat there without saying a word.
This charity gala is a long battle. Fu Hange has been there for several hours and it's still not over. Gu Yuan hasn't said anything, just sitting there politely, which is basically to maintain his image.
She asked quietly, "When are we going back?"
"I estimate it will be around 1 a.m.," Gu Yuan said casually.
Fu Hange found the gala utterly absurd. What was the point of saying so much? At least most of it was immediately forgotten.
"Can we go first?" she whispered again.
Gu Yuan seemed to be in a good mood, and gently tapped her little head, "You want to leave now? Do you think you can get out on your own?"
"Isn't there you?" she said, somewhat annoyed.
Gu Yuan smacked her head again: "It's not like I can just say I can leave."
Whether he wants to stay or leave, isn't it all up to him? Or did he originally intend to stay?
