“But you clearly have something on your mind,” Gu Yuan continued.
She pushed Gu Yuan back, "Can you let me rest for a while?"
"I'm not leaving until you explain yourself clearly," Gu Yuan said, still standing there, refusing to give up.
Fu Hange felt a surge of anger. She crawled back into bed and said, "Whatever."
Gu Yuan was furious. What kind of attitude was this? He just wanted to ask her if something had happened, but she was giving him this attitude.
Gu Yuan couldn't swallow this anger, so he rolled over and lay down next to Fu Hange, hugging her waist from the side.
Fu Hange felt a large hand on her body without her noticing. She instinctively turned her head and, sure enough, saw Gu Yuan's gloomy face.
She asked impatiently, "What exactly do you want?"
Gu Yuan brushed a stray hair from Fu Hange's head onto the pillow and smelled it. "I was just wondering if anyone had approached you when you went to the bathroom today. After all, with your looks, any man would be tempted to take a second look."
Fu Hange was completely baffled, but then she had a plan in mind.
With her back to Gu Yuan, she asked, "Would you take a second look?"
"Aren't I watching right now?" His magnetic voice lingered in Fu Hange's ear.
Fu Hange realized she was being teased and her heart trembled slightly, but she still pretended to be indifferent on the surface.
She chuckled and said, "Mr. Gu's skills in flirting with women are getting more and more sophisticated these days."
Gu Yuan rested his head on the crook of her neck, his gentle breath brushing against her face. "What if I told you that this was the only way I ever flirted with you?"

Something was pounding in her heart, but then Fu Hange told herself that she had already given up on him and shouldn't have any more unnecessary fantasies. No matter how good he was to her, it was just an act.
Thinking about it that way, Fu Hange smiled and replied, "Then shouldn't I feel honored?"
After saying that, Gu Yuan gently flicked her nose. "What do you think?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Fu Hange turned around, her smile instantly vanishing. "I want to sleep."
She really didn't want to force herself to continue being pretentious. Every interaction with him wasn't genuine; they were both filled with suspicion.
After Fu Hange turned over, Gu Yuan still showed no intention of leaving. He propped himself up on the pillow with one hand and looked at the woman next to him.
Then, with a seductive tone, she said, "Sleeping has many meanings. For example, sleeping with a man becomes a verb, not just sleeping. It requires 'action'."
Fu Hange ignored him. Actually, she understood what he meant. It was nothing more than sleeping together between a man and a woman. She didn't know where he had learned so many sweet words lately, that he could say such shameful things.
Fu Hange was still pondering how to answer him when Gu Yuan had already moved closer to her step by step.
She instinctively used her hand to block their distance, frowning as she said, "Not today."
He asked in a hoarse voice, "Why?"
Actually, Fu Hange couldn't explain why, she just felt unhappy.
She made up a reason for herself: "I'm on my period."
Gu Yuan paused for a second, then began to pull up her pants. "I'll know whether I have it or not if I take a look."
"What are you doing?" Fu Hange exclaimed in surprise and quickly stopped her.
"Didn't you say you were on your period? Let me check for you."
