Chapter 420 Acceptance

"Mr. Gu, you know why you approached her in the first place, right? But you've completely changed now. You actually want to continue this kind of life with her. I never expected that."

"What? Do I need to report to you about what I do? There are plenty of things you haven't thought of. Do you need me to give you examples one by one?"

Bai Xin smiled and said, "Okay, I'll listen to whatever you say."

Gu Yuan immediately dropped his joking tone, his face turning cold again. "What exactly are you trying to say?"

Bai Xin stood up, her fingers tracing across the table before she finally stood in front of Gu Yuan and said smugly, "Tell me, what do you think she'll do if I tell her the truth?"

"How dare you!" he roared.

Bai Xin was very satisfied with his current expression and continued, "President Gu, my purpose is actually very simple. I just want us to go back to how things were before, as long as you are willing."

She paused, then leaned closer to Gu Yuan: "If you're not willing, I'll have to go find Fu Hange."

Gu Yuan had been keeping a stern face for a long time when he suddenly laughed out loud, his tone leaving no room for doubt: "You won't."

"At least you don't dare now, because you're afraid I'll turn against you."

Bai Xin's smile froze on her lips, twitching slightly.

After pausing for a moment, she moved closer to Gu Yuan and asked, "Mr. Gu, how about we make a deal?"

Unfortunately, these words fell right into Fu Hange's ears.

This is the whole story of what happened inside. Just as she was about to kiss Gu Yuan, he kicked her out.

But she achieved her goal. She knew that Fu Hange had come, and even though Gu Yuan disagreed, she still achieved her goal.

Taking advantage of that moment, Bai Xin quietly deleted the text message she sent to Fu Hange from the phone she stole from Gu Yuan, and then silently put it back on Gu Yuan.

——

Gu Yuan got up and washed his face, then called Fu Hange's phone, but unfortunately, it was switched off.

He tried calling several more times, but the phone was still switched off.

Gu Yuan roughly guessed that she found him annoying and was deliberately ignoring him.

He irritably tossed his phone aside, straightened his clothes, walked to the entryway, and slammed the door shut.

Bai Xin was drinking tea outside when he grabbed her wrist and said coldly, "Give me your passport right now."

Bai Xin lost her grip on the water glass, and it was knocked over with a "bang," hitting the ground with a series of sounds.

Gu Yuan's grip on her hand caused her pain, and she was terrified. She squinted and asked, "Mr. Gu, what's wrong?"

The coldness in Gu Yuan's eyes grew colder and colder. "I'll say it again, give me your passport, or see you in court."

Bai Xin was completely shocked. She never expected Gu Yuan to say such a thing and send her to court. She never thought that one day Gu Yuan would personally send her to court.

But she defiantly declared, "I don't know where my passport is."

Upon hearing this, Gu Yuan tightened his grip on her wrist, almost breaking her bones.

She instinctively wanted to beg for mercy, but she didn't want to admit defeat in front of him, so she held back.

Seeing Gu Yuan's eyes growing increasingly dark, Bai Xin said, "Let me go first, I'll go back and get it for you..."

Upon hearing this, Gu Yuanxian gently released a section of her wrist, and Bai Xin seized the opportunity to quickly pull her hand back.

A fine layer of sweat had appeared on her forehead, and she said breathlessly, "Wait for me a moment, I'll get it to you right away."

After saying that, she cautiously glanced at Gu Yuan to make sure he wasn't angry before going back to her room, opening her suitcase, and finally finding what Gu Yuan wanted after searching around for a while.
