Chapter 8: Do you want the studio anymore?

Fu Hange's eyes turned cold: "I don't really want to bring up this issue, I'm sorry."

The director's expression turned slightly unpleasant. After all, anyone who didn't follow the script was disobeying him. He already had no popularity, so what was the point of making this interview if he didn't take advantage of this dirt on him?

Soon, the host shifted the topic to another matter: "Having been in the industry for many years, are there any male celebrities who have pursued you or whom you would like to pursue?"

Fu Hange shook her head: "No."

Tang Yehua frowned below.

"It's said that a mysterious man pursued you back then and even claimed he would make you a top star. Why has there been no news about you two since then?"

These entertainment programs all try to gain popularity by relying on certain scandals, but for someone like Fu Hange who has a history of scandals, it seems unnecessary to use such things for publicity.

She couldn't help but feel that the host was being a bit too inquisitive, and her tone became somewhat displeased: "That's not true."

Tang Yehuai said he would never admit it.

"But we understand that a man did pursue you when you first debuted. Although it wasn't a big deal, we'd like to know who that person is?"

Tang Yehua felt somewhat irritated.

Fu Hange's expression turned cold, her smile vanishing: "Personal matters are not for comment."

"Click!"

The director called a pause, then immediately showed his face to meet Fu Hange's gaze, looking impatient: "Well, in a moment you'll just admit that there really is such a person, you don't need to say his name, just leave the suspense for the audience to figure out, okay? Okay, get ready, action!"

Before Fu Hange could refuse, filming resumed.

The host, without changing his expression, continued asking questions along the same topic.

She felt that she had always had a good temper, but some things were better left unsaid. She glanced at Tang Yehuai standing below and saw that his face was as gloomy as hers, and then she understood what he meant.

Fu Hange stood up and said to the director, "I'm sorry, we won't be giving any more interviews."

"Didn't we agree that you'd answer all our questions? Now you don't want your performance fee anymore?"

As far as he knew, someone like Fu Hange must be in great need of money and desperately need a chance to turn her life around. This was a good opportunity, so why should she give it up?

Fu Hange took off her microphone and gently placed it aside, saying, "But I won't answer questions that are too probing. Sorry."

She felt it was already a good thing that she didn't swear; back in the day, she had people flattering her wherever she went! She wouldn't even look at this kind of show!

Seeing that she was about to leave, the director realized he had wasted his day and was sweating profusely with anger: "Seriously, can't you be more adaptable? The audience wants this? Do you really think they want to watch you? If there's nothing juicy, who's going to dig deep? You, someone who was once universally hated online, still need a show like mine to make a comeback!"

She felt like she was about to go up and kill someone, but she couldn't. Maybe this scene would be filmed and posted online tomorrow, but she told herself to stay calm.

"Director Guo, do you still want your studio?" Tang Yehuai walked down from the audience seats at some point.

The director was sweating profusely, after all, he thought that Fu Hange was someone no one wanted to watch anymore, so he spoke a little more recklessly.

He figured Tang Yehuai wouldn't fall out with him over someone like that, so he said, "Mr. Tang, no, that's not quite right. These days, celebrities need to create buzz to become famous, but Miss Fu isn't cooperating..."
