Fu Hange was heartbroken and looked at Tang Yehuai, saying each word clearly, "Then why didn't you say so sooner?"
"I'm afraid you'll hate me even more if I tell you."
If he had said so earlier, would she have had to wait here for so long?
Fu Hange was filled with mixed feelings, looking at Tang Yehuai with both heartache and regret.
Tang Yehuai's arm was still bleeding, and Fu Hange looked at it with tears streaming down her face, muttering, "Are you stupid? I won't die. Why would you take a bomb for me?"
"If you die, how am I supposed to explain this to the old lady?"
Fu Hange burst into tears again. Tang Yehuai covered his wounds with his military jacket to prevent infection, and Fu Hange was careful not to touch them when she hugged him.
"Once we escape back, you'll live a good life with me, okay?"
Perhaps it was the word "escape" that tickled Tang Yehuai's funny bone. Despite his still painful wound, he forced a reply to Fu Hange: "Okay."
It was this simple "good" that made Fu Hange feel incredibly guilty.
She started to feel annoyed again. If he liked her so much before, why did he deliberately act like an enemy? Even if he misunderstood her and Ling Han, he was so proactive after she came, but he still acted like a young master and refused to bow his head.
Thinking about it, Fu Hange punched him hard in the chest again: "Are you stupid?"
"You're the one who's stupid."
"Tell me, if you're not stupid, how could you not see how I feel about you?"
Tang Yehuai remained silent, staring at Fu Hange's face without saying a word. Just as she was distracted, Tang Yehuai brought his lips to hers.
Compared to before, Tang Yehuai's kiss was very delicate. Fu Hange couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it felt very sweet, like honey lingering in her mouth.
She wanted to hold onto this candy a little longer, hoping that this mission wouldn't end so soon, because she still owed Tang Yehuai so much.
Tang Yehuai lingered on Fu Hange's lips, and even after the kiss ended, his head remained pressed against her forehead as he said gently, "You're not allowed to think about anyone else from now on."
"good."
"Don't make me angry."
"good."
"If... I mean if, you really don't like children, we can consider not having them..."
Fu Hange was startled for a moment; indeed, she had forgotten this serious problem.
Tang Yehuai's head was still close to hers. At such close proximity, Fu Hange could feel his breath, lingering and powerful, almost overwhelming her heart.
"How about we give birth now?" she said.
For a moment, Tang Yehuai genuinely doubted her intelligence: "I'm disabled now, how am I supposed to give birth?"
That pig brain.
"If I weren't stupid, why would you like me?"
Tang Yehuai, that fool, blushed with embarrassment again.
Fu Hange liked seeing him like this; it made her feel a great sense of accomplishment. She could say things that made him blush, but she couldn't beat him in anything else.
Fu Hange suddenly remembered the question she had asked Old Madam Fu about Tang Yehuai's previous women. She immediately sat up straight, put on a stern look, pointed at him, and asked, "Tell me, how many women did you have before?"
Tang Yehua winced in pain, then sighed softly, "Not many... there must be quite a few."
"..."
shameless!
Fu Hange immediately wanted to scold him.
Fu Hange didn't even have that many men in her original world, yet this guy has so many women?!
But Tang Yehuai found her angry expression adorable and, fearing that Fu Hange would start another fight, he hugged her and said, "You alone are enough."
