A commotion erupted in the bar, and Tang Yehuai pulled Fu Hange straight to the monitoring room. The staff inside were taken aback: "What are you doing here?"
Tang Yehua raised an eyebrow, took out his police ID, and said, "Police officer, please cooperate."
The staff immediately made way.
Tang Yehuai had been working in the team, so he was quite adept at using this equipment. He quickly found the video from the night of the incident.
The time was around 8 o'clock, at which point Fang Zhuang and the deceased appeared on screen. The video shows that Fang Zhuang wasn't lying; he did meet with the deceased and chatted with her, but there was no inappropriate behavior between them.
Although the facial expressions weren't very clear, it was evident that both of them were very distressed and were drinking silently.
Fu Hange patted Tang Yehuai on the back: "It seems your guess was right. This woman really does have a bad relationship with her husband, which is why she came here to drink. It just so happens that Fang Zhuang is in the same situation as her, so the two of them are comforting each other."
Tang Yehuai had probably already guessed this outcome, and smiled faintly, saying, "Then why do you think they would meet here by such a coincidence?"
Fu Hange thought for a moment and said, "Because they had been in contact beforehand? But how did they meet in the first place?"
"That's not the most important thing. The important thing is for you to keep reading."
Fu Hange stared at the screen, and the next scene showed a burly man who looked like he had been practicing Taekwondo for many years and had some skill. His baseball cap was pulled down low, and he looked to be of a certain age, almost exactly as Fang Zhuang had described.
"So that means Fang Zhuang wasn't lying, and that person must have known what Fang Zhuang told us, which is why he killed Fang Zhuang."
Tang Yehua nodded: "I didn't realize you'd improved."
Fu Hange then realized that she had said so much, and felt a little shy. She touched her head and said, "Really? You taught me well."
"But I'm wondering how he knew Fang Zhuang had told us about it, and when he decided to take action."
The surveillance footage is still playing. After the burly man met the woman, they sat together drinking. About half an hour later, the woman left the bar, while the man continued drinking at his own pace, only changing his position to a blind spot in the surveillance footage.
The subsequent scenes consisted entirely of irrelevant content.
Tang Yehuai took a deep breath, crossed his arms, and leaned against the table: "He's a ruthless character."
Fu Hange asked, "Why?"
"He knew how to avoid blind spots in the surveillance cameras and never showed himself. Even the spot where he was sitting wouldn't be captured on camera."
"why is that?"
Tang Yehuai suddenly wanted to take back what he said. He had just said that Fu Hange had improved, but now it seemed that it was not true.
He said, "This means he can avoid surveillance. What's bothering me right now is that Anheng City is so big, where are we supposed to look for him?"
Both of them fell silent.
Suddenly Tang Yehuai said, "If he's so familiar with the location of the surveillance cameras, then he must come here often. It's possible he was here when we were, it's possible..."
Fu Hange's eyes widened: "What's possible?"
"It's possible... he's here right now."
He was staring at them with eagle eyes.
Fu Hange felt a chill run down her spine; her brain seemed to explode and boil over. It felt like she was naked and being spied on at any moment, like walking on a knife's edge, always on the verge of being killed. Thinking about it carefully, she realized how terrifying it was.
