Chapter 95 Nobody

Fu Hange almost screamed, then quickly covered her mouth, staring blankly at Tang Yehuai.

Did she think that way she wouldn't arouse suspicion? Tang Yehuai touched his face in exasperation. If that person were really there, they would definitely be exposed right now. They didn't come here to drink, they just sat there like fools. Anyone who paid a little attention would know.

A few minutes later, Fu Hange asked Tang Yehuai, "Was I too obvious just now?"

It was more than obvious; everyone else was there to have fun, but Fu Hange looked completely terrified. How could it not be obvious?

Tang Yehuai said, "We'll leave in twenty minutes."

Fu Hange's immediate thought was, if she was really being watched, shouldn't she leave quickly? Why was she staying here for so long?

But she soon realized that walking too fast would arouse suspicion, especially if they were noticed, so they had to pretend nothing was wrong.

For those twenty minutes, Fu Hange was truly restless, ordering one drink after another. She dared not drink alcohol, fearing she wouldn't be able to run later.

Tang Yehuai glanced at his watch, and finally said to Fu Hange, "That's enough."

She immediately understood, paid the bill, and quickly followed Tang Yehuai to escape from there.

Around 10:30 PM, that's the downside of Anheng City. The shops close early at night, and there are only a few vehicles passing by on the street, nothing else.

Fu Hange felt incredibly uneasy. This was their second time at this bar. The last time, Fang Zhuang came and died in their place. She wondered if it would be their turn tonight.

Moreover, she felt that Tang Yehuai's reasoning was correct, all his conclusions were right, and that the person might be following them and monitoring them all the way.

Fu Hange said, "How about we take a taxi?"

Tang Yehuai looked around and was surprised to find that there wasn't a single car in sight! He hadn't even driven himself.

Fu Hange grew increasingly frightened and grabbed Tang Yehuai's clothes, saying, "How about I stay at your place for the night? Don't worry, I'll protect you!"

She was still as naive as ever. Tang Yehua chuckled, "If you could protect me, I would have left you with that person long ago, so he wouldn't be watching me."

Fu Hange was truly on the verge of tears: "No!"

He gestured for her to be quiet: "Don't speak, just follow me."

Sure enough, I was angry the whole way.

Fu Hange felt uneasy about something behind her. Tang Yehuai's big hands were very strong, and her palms were sweaty. Her only fear was that he would look down on her.

Although Tang Yehuai's house was in a residential area, it still required navigating a long alley. Fu Hange was terrified as she followed him. She began to wonder if this would be a burden to him. If she walked alone, they could at least be separated, and she didn't believe she could catch both of them at once.

As they approached the alleyway, Fu Hange's heart pounded with sweat. Tang Yehuai whispered from ahead, "Hold on tight."

She nodded, even though her hands were already covered in cold sweat.

For some reason, it's especially dark here at night, and there are no lights. Especially when you go into the alley, there's a layer of white mist that makes it hard to see anything.

Fu Hange was startled. Could it be some kind of supernatural event? She had read too many ghost stories and this scene seemed very similar.

She couldn't see the alley ahead clearly; all around her was white mist, like ascending to heaven after death. She reached out a hand to try and peel away the mist, but found that it was still all white no matter what she did.

Fu Hange asked Tang Yehuai, "Where are we?"

No one answered.

A minute later, still no one answered.

She tried to call for help with the hand that Tang Yehuai had just grabbed, but found that she couldn't touch Tang Yehuai's hand no matter what she did!

Nobody's here! Not a single one! Tang Yehuai has vanished.
