Gu Yuan, his face grim, pulled her close. "I'm in charge of this."
"But what right do you have to make decisions for me?" Fu Hange was inexplicably angry.
Gu Yuan really didn't want to explain too much to her; the less she knew, the safer she would be.
He made up a flimsy excuse: "Because your presence here will get in the way of me and Bai Xin."
After saying that, he went to help Fu Hange button up the last two buttons on her clothes.
She shoved his hand away, jumped out of bed, and angrily said, "Then why did you come back? Go find her! You'd better not interfere in my affairs!"
After saying that, Fu Hange ran out of there in one breath. She didn't even put on her shoes and ran straight to the road, but after only a few steps, she felt a piercing pain in the soles of her feet.
Fu Hange had no choice but to stop and walk slowly. She couldn't stay in this place any longer anyway. Let him do whatever he wanted with Bai Xin. Send her abroad? She wouldn't do that.
She had spent countless days and nights alone abroad, and she would never want to go back to those days.
A wave of nausea surged up her stomach, and she squatted down to receive the churning bile.
Fu Hange coughed up mouthful after mouthful of white foam, almost vomiting up everything she had. After calming down a little, she pressed her hand to her chest and gasped for breath.
She wasn't unaware of what this meant, but after what happened last time, she dared not make a hasty judgment.
Fu Hange slowly got up, her head suddenly felt a little dizzy, which was probably a sign of anemia. She had no choice but to sit on a bench by the roadside to rest for a while.
This road is located in the suburbs, and there are usually not many vehicles on it. Now that it's almost noon, there are even fewer vehicles to be seen.
There was no water for sale by the roadside, and Fu Hange felt terrible after vomiting so much.
She sat by the roadside for a few more minutes.
Fu Hange's "escape" was not smooth at all, and Gu Yuan caught up with her in no time.
When Fu Hange saw him driving, she knew she couldn't escape.
Gu Yuan coldly opened the car door without saying a word.
She resigned herself to her fate and sat down.
"Don't run around like that in the future," Gu Yuan said.
She didn't answer, and sat inside thinking.
Gu Yuan took her back and then said, "Go put on your shoes, grab your luggage, and come with me."
"Are you still going to send me abroad?" she asked coldly.
Gu Yuan replied with a deep look in his eyes, "Yes, I must see you off."
"I don't want to leave."
Gu Yuan looked somewhat helpless, his brows furrowed: "You have to listen to me no matter what. If things are alright in the future, come back. If things are bad, never come back."
Fu Hange was somewhat alarmed. Even if he had some past conflicts with others in the business world, she could have shared the burden with him. Why did he have to send her away?
"Do you want me to help you put on your shoes?" Gu Yuan suddenly asked.
Fu Hange had no choice but to reluctantly put on her white sneakers.
Gu Yuan then ordered her, "Go and get your luggage."
"Do you really have to do this?" she asked, frowning.
Gu Yuan chuckled and lifted her hair: "It has to be this way."
"Then I will absolutely not go with you."
Gu Yuan didn't say anything, walked past her, went upstairs, and came down with a box in his hand.
Fu Hange immediately understood his meaning; he still wanted to see her off.
"Be good," he said again.
Fu Hange kept a straight face, and Gu Yuan didn't wait for her consent. He took her hand with one hand and dragged her suitcase with the other and walked out.
