Chapter 282 Do you like the gift I carefully prepared for you?

The cultivator sensed the impending danger and stared in terror, trying to dodge, but found his body frozen in place, unable to move.

Before the other cultivators could react, the enormous fingers had already seized his head. With a mere squeeze, a crisp "crack" rang out, and the cultivator's head was easily crushed like a fragile eggshell. In an instant, scalding red blood gushed out like a fountain, mixing with fragments of bone and flesh, tracing horrifying arcs in the air and splashing everywhere. The warm blood splattered onto the faces and bodies of the other cultivators.

"What...what is this thing?" Someone in the crowd screamed in terror, their voice trembling uncontrollably.

Before everyone could recover from their previous fear, strange things happened again.

Suddenly, another enormous, monstrous hand appeared out of thin air without warning. This hand emitted a chilling, eerie light, its five fingers outstretched and clawing as it swiftly grabbed at another unfortunate cultivator.

The cultivator had no time to react before being precisely captured by the strange hand, his entire body tightly held in its palm.

With a casual, slight movement, the strange hand's sharp fingers pierced the cultivator's body like blades.

In the blink of an eye, the strange hand suddenly exerted its force, a force that was both brutal and violent. Under this immense force, the cultivator's body was as fragile as a clay doll that could be easily kneaded by a child.

As the excavator's hand squeezed, his bones, unable to bear the weight, emitted a series of rapid "crackling" sounds, like dry tinder exploding in a raging fire. Then, his flesh was mercilessly crushed under the immense pressure, and blood gushed out from between his fingers like a torrent.

A piercing scream echoed wildly through the space, a sound filled with endless pain and despair.

Screams and the cracking sounds of bones breaking intertwined, creating a chilling symphony of death that assaulted the nerves of everyone present. A chill ran down their spines, their hair stood on end, and fear overwhelmed them like a tidal wave.

All of this happened so suddenly, like a bolt from the blue, that everyone present froze in place. Their eyes widened, their faces filled with terror and disbelief.

Everyone's breathing became rapid and heavy, their hearts pounding wildly in their chests, but no one dared to make a sound, for fear of disturbing that terrifying hand and bringing disaster upon themselves.

But at that moment, one after another, strange hands appeared on the ground. These hands were twisted and thick, covered with eerie blue veins, and emitted a nauseating stench. They completely ignored the silence of the crowd, as if driven by some kind of crazy instinct, and clearly targeted the Nascent Soul stage cultivators.

A monstrous hand shot out with lightning speed, grabbing a Nascent Soul cultivator's ankle and lifting him upside down in an instant. At the same time, five or six more monstrous hands swiftly surrounded him, their fingers like sharp claws, plunging viciously into the cultivator's body. Then, these monstrous hands exerted force in different directions, and with a heart-wrenching scream, the cultivator was torn to pieces in the blink of an eye, blood and flesh splattering everywhere.

Meanwhile, another strange hand suddenly sprang out from the ground like a ghost, moving so fast that no one had time to react. It rushed straight towards a Nascent Soul cultivator, like a sharp spear, instantly piercing through the cultivator's body.

The strange hand possessed overwhelming power, piercing the cultivator's body and sending out a blinding cloud of blood mist. With a sudden burst of force, the hand flung the pierced body away. The cultivator's body traced a long arc through the air, like a falling meteor, except this meteor carried endless pain and despair.

The cultivator who was thrown out crashed heavily to the ground some distance away, raising a cloud of dust. He lay on the ground, his body twitching a few times before falling still. Blood gushed from his wounds, spreading across the ground to form a gruesome pool of blood.

Upon seeing this, the other cultivators around screamed in terror, their eyes filled with fear and despair, and they frantically fled in all directions.

Outside the secret realm, everyone who had been intently watching the Qiankun Mirror stood frozen in place, as if under a spell. Their eyes were wide open, filled with disbelief and deep fear.

Everyone's breathing was rapid and heavy, their hearts pounding wildly in their chests as if they were about to burst out.

One of them trembled, managing to squeeze out a few words with barely concealed trembling in his voice: "What... what is this?" Even though they were in a safe area, just looking at the scene in the mirror made them tremble with fear, as if the terrifying scene was happening right in front of them.

Qi Haoyuan was also shocked by the scene before him, his face turning pale. He stared intently at the Qiankun Mirror, his eyes filled with terror.

Previously, although he thought Bai Ying was doomed to die under the pursuit of numerous Nascent Soul stage cultivators, deep down he still held a faint hope that Bai Ying could survive. But now, who could have predicted that Bai Ying would stumble into such a terrifying space? In his view, Bai Ying was truly doomed.

However, just as Qi Haoyuan was filled with despair, Bai Ying in the Qiankun Mirror looked at those people who were panicking under the attack of the strange hand, and slowly raised the corners of her mouth, and suddenly laughed.

The smile held a hint of mockery, yet also a touch of vengeful satisfaction. "Weren't you all so powerful? How come you look so vulnerable and weak now?"

Bai Ying's voice was clear and crisp, yet it sounded particularly out of place in this terrifying atmosphere.

As soon as she finished speaking, Bai Ying gently waved her finger, and in an instant, the scene before her eyes underwent a dramatic transformation. The lotus flowers that had just been so vibrant and alluring, attracting everyone to pick them, and the jade pendant that radiated an irresistible glow, vanished without a trace. In their place stood an enormous, chilling coffin.

To everyone's astonishment, the clusters of flowers that had just adorned the roadside and looked beautiful had now all turned into a mountain of skulls.

Skeletons were piled up in layers, their numbers beyond imagination, as if the space had been instantly transformed into a giant death graveyard. Not only that, but the ground was also densely covered with skeletons, intertwined and stacked, some already incomplete, revealing dark eye sockets and bared teeth.

This scene was like a nightmare come to life before everyone's eyes. Everyone who witnessed it felt a chill run from the soles of their feet to their spines, and the hairs on their bodies stood on end. Fear, like a surging tide, instantly overwhelmed them completely.

Bai Ying looked at everything before her and let out a hearty laugh: "So? Do you like the gift I carefully prepared for you?"
