"We're all going to die here..."
The crowd was so terrified by the terrifying appearance of the dragon that they were on the verge of losing their minds.
They had all witnessed the terror of that dragon; this monster was far beyond their ability to fight back, and was probably comparable to a Nascent Soul cultivator.
"What should I do? Waaah... I don't want to die..." A sobbing wail, like a stone thrown into a calm lake, instantly stirred up a thousand waves, causing sobs to rise and fall all around.
Looking around, they saw dragons everywhere, some hovering in the air, their massive bodies blotting out the sky; others lurking on the ground, poised to strike, their cold, vertical pupils seemingly able to see into their very souls. At this moment, they were like insects trapped in a spider's web, struggling but unable to find a single opening to escape.
Despair spread rapidly in everyone's heart, completely consuming the glimmer of hope.
Their eyes were empty and lost, as if the vitality of life was being slowly drained from their bodies.
When everyone saw the dragon slowly twist its massive body and prepare to attack Bai Ying, their hearts clenched as if gripped tightly by a cold hand.
The fear within them surged like a burst dam, becoming uncontrollable. They all turned their heads away, unable to bear the impending horrific scene, as if by not looking, this annihilation would not occur.
Wang Qiushi was torn. On one hand, he naturally didn't want his fellow disciples to perish at the hands of the dragons; but on the other hand, seeing the dense swarm of dragons surrounding them, a secret sense of relief welled up inside him. If everyone died, his shameful act of luring the dragons would be buried forever, unknown to anyone. This selfish thought flashed through his mind, but he felt no remorse. He simply stared intently at Bai Ying, his mind already conjuring the horrifying image of the dragons swallowing her whole.
However, at that moment, Bai Yingdi drew her sword from her waist, flicked her wrist, and the sword shot into the air like an arrow. In the blink of an eye, the sword expanded at a visible speed, and in the blink of an eye, it became enormous, like a towering mountain stretching across the sky.
The light emanating from the sword was dazzling, hurting everyone's eyes. Even more shocking was that countless black petals were densely protruding from the sword. The petals were crystal clear, yet they exuded a chilling and murderous aura, as if each one was soaked in the aura of death, sending shivers down one's spine.
This sudden power was terrifyingly strong, seemingly capable of tearing the heavens apart and annihilating all evil in the world.
"What is this?" Someone in the crowd stared in astonishment at Bai Ying's sword, muttering to himself involuntarily, his mouth agape.
Bai Ying raised her finger slightly, and the giant sword seemed to be drawn by an invisible force, standing steadily in front of the dragon in front of her.
"Slash!" Bai Ying's voice, though not loud, resounded like a booming bell, echoing in everyone's ears. Her hand gripped the air as if it were truly holding a sword hilt, and then, slowly yet with an unstoppable momentum, she slashed downwards.
In an instant, the giant sword shone brightly, its radiance shooting straight into the sky, as if it would cleave the oppressive heavens in two.
An incredibly terrifying sword aura surged forth from the blade, the black petals, like lifeless hidden weapons, hurtling towards the dragon with a sharp whistling sound. The sword aura crisscrossed, instantly tearing apart the void, and a series of ear-piercing hissing sounds filled the air, as if space itself was struggling under the impact of this powerful force and on the verge of collapse.
The dragon, which had always regarded everyone as mere ants, finally realized the extraordinary nature of the seemingly weak girl before it. It suddenly opened its blood-red maw, and scorching flames rapidly gathered within, then erupted like a raging pillar of fire towards Bai Ying. The flames were incredibly hot; wherever they passed, the air was scorched and distorted, and the stones on the ground instantly turned to dust.
"Get out of the way!" Those who witnessed this scene screamed in terror, their hearts leaping into their throats. This dragon was already terrifying, and its breath was incredibly powerful; once touched, the consequences would be unimaginable and impossible to extinguish. Everyone's hearts pounded violently, as if they would burst from their chests, and they dared not even breathe.
However, just when everyone thought Bai Ying was about to be trapped, the raging flames spewed by the dragon seemed to have encountered their natural enemy, being completely absorbed by the black petals emerging from Bai Ying's sword. The black petals, upon absorbing the flames, suddenly doubled in size, becoming even more eerie and powerful.
Bai Ying's lips curled up slightly, revealing a faint smile, and she said softly to the petals, "It seems you really like its taste, then go ahead."
As he spoke, the giant sword slashed down fiercely towards the dragon.
Nothing can describe the shock of this sword strike.
With this sword strike, even the rules of heaven and earth seemed to tremble under its immense power, as if the sword energy could split the vast universe in two if it advanced just a little further.
The once majestic and invincible dragon suddenly became as fragile as paper, its massive body cleaved in two by Bai Ying's sword energy.
The dense black petals clinging to the sword now burned and spread wildly across the dragon's body like ignited hellfire, leaving scorched hues in their wake, flesh instantly turning to ash, and filling the air with a pungent, burnt smell. As the sword energy severed the dragon's body, it continued its relentless rampage, instantly tearing through the void. Space seemed to be ripped apart by an invisible giant hand, revealing shocking black cracks from which a strange, chaotic aura emanated, threatening to devour everything around it.
