Chapter 643 (Final Chapter)

Bai Ying ventured alone into the depths of the secret realm.

She had already discovered that this perilous place contained an ancient soul artifact called the "Soul-Tracing Lamp," which could find remnant souls and gather spiritual essences, and was the key to reviving Miaomiao.

As she soared into the canyon, several cultivators were hiding behind the rock wall, discussing their next move.

"Hey! Little girl over there!"

A sharp voice suddenly came from behind.

Bai Ying turned her head slightly and saw five or six cultivators hiding behind a boulder at the valley entrance. The gray-robed old man at the head of the group had a wrinkled face and a calculating glint in his triangular eyes.

"What are you looking at? I'm talking to you!" a heavily made-up female cultivator next to the old man shrieked. "You callow brat, do you know where you are? How dare you barge in?"

Bai Ying withdrew her gaze expressionlessly and took a step towards the valley.

"Halt!" the gray-robed elder shouted fiercely. "You fool! The valley is inhabited by a Xuanming Giant Python that has cultivated for a thousand years. Even Nascent Soul cultivators who go in never return! Judging from your appearance, you're at most at the early Golden Core stage, right? Here's what we'll do: you join us, and we'll protect your safety, but you have to give me the jade pendant at your waist."

The old man stared longingly at the eroded jade pendant hanging from Bai Ying's waist, instinctively feeling that it was no ordinary item.

A young male cultivator sneered, "Master, why waste your breath on such an arrogant brat? Let her go in and die; it'll be good for us to scout ahead."

"Exactly," the female cultivator chuckled, covering her mouth. "Look at her shabby appearance, she doesn't even have a decent magic treasure. How dare she come to Xuanming Valley? She's probably a disciple from some small sect who overheard some information and recklessly came looking for treasure. Master has as many jade pendants as you want. If you wish, your disciple can get you a few more."

Bai Ying remained oblivious, her steps unwavering.

"Hey! Is this girl deaf or stupid?" The gray-robed old man's beard bristled with anger. "I kindly reminded you, and you dare to be so rude!"

"stop!"

A sharp shout came from behind, but Bai Ying did not stop or even turn her head.

"You're courting death!" The gray-robed elder was furious. With a flick of his sleeve, a sharp spiritual force transformed into a chain, which fiercely wrapped around Bai Ying!

"boom!"

The moment the spiritual energy chains touched three feet around Bai Ying, they disintegrated instantly, like a mud ox sinking into the sea!

"What?" The gray-robed old man's pupils shrank sharply as he watched in disbelief as his attack vanished as if it were child's play.

"Master, there's something strange about this girl!"

"Forget about her," the male cultivator said. "Let her be the giant python's bait. We can take this opportunity to gather the Nine-Turn Rejuvenating Grass from the valley."

The old man looked at Bai Ying with some resentment.

But Bai Ying had already stepped into the valley. The giant python was not far from her.

"Oh no, oh no, that idiot actually went in!" the female cultivator screamed. "Her swaggering in like that will definitely enrage the giant python!"

The gray-robed old man's face turned ashen: "Damn little beast! If you want to die, fine, but don't drag us down with you! If the giant python is alerted, the entire valley will be on alert. How are we supposed to gather herbs then?"

Just then, the ground suddenly began to shake violently.

A deafening roar echoed through the valley, followed by the sound of boulders rolling down.

"It's over! The giant python has been awakened!" The male cultivator's face turned deathly pale. "That idiot! What on earth did she do?"

The group scrambled to hide behind a distant boulder, only daring to peek out with half their heads sticking out. A black mist rose from the valley, and a giant python, at least ten zhang long, emerged from the abyss, its scales gleaming with a ghostly blue light, its scarlet vertical pupils fixed intently on Bai Ying standing before it.

"Look, that girl's dead meat!" the female cultivator said gleefully. "The giant python could swallow her whole!"

However, what happened next brought their laughter to an abrupt halt.

Bai Ying calmly looked up at the colossal python, its massive size resembling a mountain, and her voice echoed clearly through the valley: "Hand over the Soul-Tracing Lamp."

"What?!" The gray-robed elder nearly bit his tongue. "She...she actually demanded a treasure directly from the giant python? The Soul-Tracing Lamp? That's a priceless treasure that the giant python has guarded for a thousand years!"

The male cultivator stared in disbelief: "Has she gone mad? Provoking the giant python like this will only lead to an even more gruesome death!"

The giant python was indeed enraged. It opened its blood-red maw and spewed out a cloud of dark green poisonous mist. Wherever the mist passed, even the rocks sizzled and corroded.

"Serves her right! Let her be arrogant!" the female cultivator shrieked. "Now she won't even have bones left..."

Before she could finish speaking, Bai Ying gently raised her hand, and a bright light instantly pierced through the poisonous mist, striking the giant python's head with undiminished force.

With a crisp "crack," the giant python's single horn, as sharp as a sword, was severed cleanly at the root!

"This...this is impossible!" The gray-robed elder's legs went weak, and he knelt on the ground. "That's the Xuanming Horn, capable of withstanding a full-force attack from a Nascent Soul cultivator!"

The giant python roared in agony, its massive body writhing wildly, flattening all the rocks within a hundred feet. However, Bai Ying simply leaped away, dodging all the attacks. She hovered in mid-air, her sword tip aimed directly at the python's vital spot.

"I'll say it one last time," her voice was icy, "give me the light."

A chilling scene unfolded: the ferocious beast that had dominated Xuanming Valley for a thousand years cowered and lowered its head, spitting out an ancient bronze lamp from under the scales on its belly.

Bai Ying reached out and beckoned, and the ancient lamp flew into her hand.

The lamp was covered with ancient runes and emitted a faint blue light.

As Bai Ying slowly walked out of the valley holding the soul lamp, the cultivators were already terrified. The female cultivator's medicine hoe fell to the ground with a clatter, the male cultivator collapsed to the ground, and the gray-robed old man kept kowtowing.
