Chapter 65 Qin Zijin completely broke down

"No!"

Qin Zijin was completely devastated! He simply couldn't believe that Ruan Xinrou would treat him like this.

Before Ruan Xinrou pushed him toward the black-spotted leopard, he was only thinking about escaping with Ruan Xinrou.

He himself was already in a dangerous situation, but he still made a special trip to Ruan Xinrou's side to help her.

But what about her? She actually pushed him to his death with her own hands!

Qin Zijing crashed hard into the black leopard.

The black-spotted leopard suddenly leaped up and pinned Qin Zijin beneath it.

Qin Zijin was completely unable to move.

"Help!"

He screamed in terror, but Ruan Xinrou showed no sign of stopping; she flew further and further away until she disappeared from sight.

Qin Zijing stared intently in the direction she had gone, tears streaming down her face.

"Why did this happen? Why!"

He kept saying "why?"

I was also asking myself why?

Within his sect, he gave all his kindness to Ruan Xinrou alone.

He would do his best to fulfill any request Ruan Xinrou made.

When Ruan Xinrou said bad things about Bai Ying, he was the first to stand by Ruan Xinrou's side. He has always been the most biased towards Ruan Xinrou!

But why would she treat him like that?

Qin Zijin was in so much pain that she felt her heart being torn to pieces.

But the scene before him didn't allow him to think about those things; the black leopard had already opened its blood-red maw.

Qin Zijing's heart clenched, fear coursing through his body like an electric current. His eyes widened as he stared at the ferocious beast before him, his body trembling uncontrollably. The black-spotted leopard growled softly, a sound like a roar from hell, making Qin Zijing's blood almost freeze.

He wanted to run away, but his body felt as heavy as lead, and he couldn't move an inch. The black leopard's head drew closer and closer, each movement like a tearing wound into Qin Zijing's heart. His breathing became rapid and erratic, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

The black spots on the leopard looked particularly ferocious in the sunlight. It opened its mouth, revealing sharp teeth and emitting a nauseating, metallic stench. Suddenly, the leopard bit Qin Zijing's arm; a sharp pain instantly shot through her, and blood gushed out. Qin Zijing let out a scream.

He tried to calm himself down, using his magical artifact to shield himself from the black leopard.

The black-spotted leopard didn't give up; it bit again, tearing the hard magical artifact to pieces. Qin Zijing struggled desperately, pushing the leopard away with all his might, but the leopard was too strong, and his resistance seemed so futile. Qin Zijing's heart was filled with fear and despair; for the first time, he felt death so acutely.

"Someone, please save me!"

He screamed in agony.

Not only him, but the entire place had become a living hell. Countless cultivators had perished in the jaws of various demonic beasts, and bloodshed and terror permeated every corner. He slowly closed his eyes in despair, already sensing his impending death. The endless darkness seemed to engulf him completely at that moment, and despair followed him like a shadow, impossible to shake off.

But just then, a dark shadow flew in like lightning. Qin Zijing only felt a blur before her eyes as an arrow pierced the air with astonishing speed, accompanied by a sharp whistling sound, as if it could tear the air apart. The next moment, the arrow pierced the black-spotted leopard's throat with perfect accuracy.

The black-spotted leopard froze instantly. Its eyes widened, the ferocity still lingering, yet a gurgling sound escaped its throat. Blood gushed from the wound, staining its black fur crimson. The black-spotted leopard struggled a few times in despair, but ultimately collapsed helplessly to the ground.

Qin Zijing stared blankly at the scene, the fear in his heart not yet completely dissipated. His gaze was fixed on the arrow, as if he couldn't believe that he had been pulled back from the brink of death. The arrow was firmly embedded in the black leopard's throat, its fletching still trembling slightly.

Qin Zijing turned her head and saw a brother and sister walking out of the forest.

The people who came were Wang Qi and his sister Wang Miaomiao.

Wang Miaomiao was not in good condition; she had just been attacked by a demonic beast and was healing here.

If Qin Zijing and the leopard hadn't been so close to where they were hiding, Wang Qi wouldn't have planned to help.

After all, they themselves are already in a very dangerous situation, so they can't help others at all.

At that moment, Wang Qi walked to Qin Zijing's side and asked him, "Are you alright?"

Qin Zijing shook his head in a daze, still unable to believe that he had escaped death.

Thank you.

"Why are there so many monsters here?" Wang Qi frowned deeply.

Qin Zijin's face was full of bitterness.

"It was my junior sister who picked the beast-attracting grass and attracted these monsters. She also shared the beast-attracting grass with everyone."

Wang Qi could hardly believe it, and even his tone became agitated: "Your Huayang Sect isn't a small sect anymore, surely you haven't even seen the information about the Shadow Valley Trial? It's one thing for cultivators from small sects not to know, but how could you make such a big mistake?"

Qin Zijing was at a loss for words...

"sorry......"

"What good is 'sorry'! Do you know how many people have died? All because of your Huayang Sect!"

Wang Qi knew that getting angry at this point would be useless, but he had seen too many cultivators' corpses. Many of them had only tried their luck at the entrance of Shadow Valley and shouldn't have died!
