Chapter 50 Luo Chaoxin confuses right and wrong

The restaurant fell into silence again, almost dead except for the heavy breathing.

Luo Chaoxin's heart was pounding, his face was flushed, and his eyes secretly swept across the faces of everyone in the restaurant.

Luo Xionghua had a gloomy expression and looked at the big screen with melancholy eyes.

Chen Xirong's eyes flickered as she stared at the dishes on the table in silence.

The sisters exchanged glances with each other, but no one looked at Luo Chaoxin.

Aunt Zhao had left the restaurant at some point and the kitchen door was closed.

Luo Chaoxin rolled his eyes and fainted in Chen Xirong's arms.

Chen Xirong noticed something was wrong with her son and screamed, "Xiao Xin, what's wrong with you? Xiao Juan, come over and see Xiao Xin. Do you want to take him to the hospital?"

Although Luo Zijuan is a psychologist, she is also a medical student. She has long been accustomed to her brother's frequent fainting.

She walked over calmly, took Luo Chaoxin from Chen Xirong's arms, performed a few first aid moves casually, and "rescued" Luo Chaoxin.

Chen Xirong finally relaxed and looked up at Luo Ziyan on the big screen, cursing, "You damned bitch! Don't you know Xiaoxin has had poor health since childhood? Why do you have to piss him off? He fainted this morning from that bastard Luo Qi, and now he's fainted again from you. How did you become like that bastard?"

Luo Ziyan was scolded, but she didn't care at all. In her good mood, she said with interest, "I remember he fainted three times in the first month after he came home. Didn't you guys check him up or treat him? Now he faints twice a day. Is he almost terminally ill? Are you all waiting for him to faint and never wake up again? When that happens, remember to notify me immediately and I'll buy a plane ticket home!"

Her words made Chen Xirong and Luo Xionghua so angry that their lungs were about to explode.

Without waiting for Chen Xirong to lose her temper, Luo Xionghua picked up the phone on the desk and hung up the video call directly.

He said to Luo Zichan sternly, "Xiaochan, I'm going to suspend Xiaowu's credit cards tomorrow, and forbid any of you from helping her. I'm going to teach her a lesson this time. If she keeps going on like this, she'll ruin this family sooner or later!"

Luo Zichan looked up at the furious Luo Xionghua and wanted to say that it was not her fifth sister who brought disaster to the family, but her reason told her that it was not appropriate to cause trouble at this moment, so she had to agree obediently.

Luo Zijuan and Luo Ziting didn't dare to say anything good about Luo Ziyan. They just kept their heads down, thinking about their own things.

By now, the restaurant's original festive atmosphere had completely vanished, leaving only silence. Luo Xionghua asked Aunt Zhao to remove the cake from the middle of the table, and then announced that dinner was about to begin.

After Luo Ziyan's disturbance, Luo Zichan's mood worsened. She just wanted to go back to her bedroom and quiet down for a while, but her parents were furious, so she could only endure and accompany the whole family for dinner. Although the table was full of delicacies, she found them tasteless and chewed like wax.

Dinner was held in a depressing atmosphere. After Luo Chaoxin "fainted", no one mentioned the incident of him stealing the diamond ring, which made him secretly breathe a sigh of relief.

While eating, he picked up some food for Chen Xirong and Luo Xionghua, showing how well-behaved and sensible he was.

Suddenly, Luo Xionghua put down his chopsticks and asked him, "Xiao Xin, why did Luo Qi make you faint at school this morning?"

Hearing his father suddenly asking him, Luo Chaoxin, who was a little confused, was startled. He was relieved when he found out that his father was asking about what happened in the morning.

Although it was difficult to explain to the whole family about pretending to faint in the morning, Luo Chaoxin was already accustomed to confusing right and wrong and putting the blame on Luo Qi, so this problem was not difficult. Moreover, he had already told Chen Xirong about it once when he was sent home in the morning.

Seeing everyone put down their chopsticks and their eyes focused on him, Luo Chaoxin coughed dryly, then habitually opened his mouth to criticize Luo Qi: "Brother Luo Qi is really cunning."

He paused and glanced around the table, noticing that no one's expressions had changed significantly and no one was interacting with him.

He felt gloomy and a little uneasy. In the past, whenever he said something bad about Luo Qi, someone would immediately speak up to support him, but now no one did. Could it be that everyone was influenced by what Luo Ziyan had just said?

He felt like he was being treated like a clown by his whole family, and continued speaking under tremendous pressure.

"You certainly wouldn't have guessed that he actually ranked third in the school on this mock exam, with a total score of 702. You all know his usual grades are either last in the class or last in the entire grade. How could he possibly score so high?"

Still no one spoke up. Chen Xirong felt bad for her precious son having to perform a one-man show, so she asked him, "How did he get such a high score when his grades were so poor? Did he cheat?"

As soon as she spoke, the oppressive atmosphere at the table immediately relaxed a lot.

Seeing Chen Xirong speaking up to help him out, Luo Chaoxin looked at her gratefully and gave her a thumbs up: "Mom, you are so amazing! You guessed it right on the first try!"

Chen Xirong caressed Luo Chaoxin's head with a distressed look and continued to cooperate with him: "That loser's grades have always been so bad, but he suddenly scored so high. If it wasn't cheating, what else could it be? It's not hard to guess."

Luo Chaoxin nodded and said, "Yes, he cheated. I heard that his seat during the exam was right behind a top student in the Huamei class, and he paid that top student several thousand yuan to copy his answers for him."

Lin Xiaoyu had told him about the cheating incident when she called him. Although he knew that Lu Zhengming had testified for Luo Qi, how could he give up this "evidence" that came from someone else's mouth? He combined his own actions to make up a "fact" that Luo Qi had cheated.
