According to the directions they went, Xiong Qi and Song Xunbai should have met the saint first, but now the two of them came here first.
"The Saint said that she went to the Wanjie Mountain first. We came to ask if you want to go back with us." Xiong Qi said this out of courtesy. Now, he and Song Xunbai are the only two awake demons in the entire demon world. Of course, he cannot allow two outsiders to barge in around the palace.
"Of course." Foqing Buddha nodded quickly and looked at Song Xunbai: "Donor Song, do you want to go in and take a look before leaving?"
Song Xunbai shook his head: "After we find Fellow Daoist Yin, let's go directly to 卐界山. It's so quiet here in the Royal City. I'm worried that something might happen over there."
"What's 卐界山?" Just then, Yin Changpi came quickly over from another path and complained loudly, "I haven't found anything here. I was just wondering where to go next when I vaguely heard someone calling me. I ran over and heard you guys talking about 卐界山. Did something happen?"
"Oh, nothing. We were just about to go to the Jie Mountain and came to look for you two." Xiong Qi replied.
"Where is the Saint?" Yin Changpi asked.
"She sent me a message earlier, saying that she went to the 嚴界 Mountain first." Song Xunbai answered the question again.
"Stop talking, let's go to the Jieshan Mountain and take a look." Manager Xiong said, stamping his feet anxiously.
Jueqing Fozi and Yin Changpi exchanged a glance and nodded. After that, the two demons didn't linger any longer and quickly left the demon palace.
After things quieted down, two figures, one in purple and one in green, slowly walked out from a remote corner and stopped in front of the "Tushan" Hall.
"Should we go to 卐界山 quickly?" Song Yu looked at Yan Baibai and asked.
"Of course I have to go, but I need to get something first." Yan Baibai said as he walked into the "Tushan" Hall.
"What is it?" Song Yu followed closely.
"Before I parted ways with Senior Sister Nianshu, she asked me to bring her back some books on the demon race." Yan Baibai walked slowly around the potholes in the courtyard and stepped into the side hall that looked like a study. "Junior Brother, you know Senior Sister Nianshu loves books like her life."
Yan Baibai discovered that the footsteps that had been following closely behind her suddenly stopped. Turning around, she saw Song Yu, dressed in green, standing stiffly at the bottom of the stairs, his eyes fixed on her who was standing high up.
"What's wrong?" Yan Baibai asked with a smile.
"You just called me..." He said blankly without finishing his words.
"Junior brother." Yan Baibai still smiled, looked down at the person at the bottom of the stairs, and asked, "Is there any problem?"
His lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but no words came out.
Yan Baibai waved his hand and put the hat on his head into the space, then raised his head and gently took off the white mask on his face.
Under the mask is Yan Baibai's own appearance.
"What?" Yan Baibai looked at him with a smile: "Are you unwilling to be my junior apprentice now, Junior Apprentice Brother Lu Wuxiu?"
"No, it's not," he replied.
"What is that?" Yan Baibai slowly walked down two steps and stopped in front of him.
"It's not that I don't want to..." He looked into Yan Baibai's eyes and said, "It's that I'm not qualified."
"Lu Wuxiu, do you regret it?" Yan Baibai asked him, "I regret what I did back then."
After he finished speaking, Yan Baibai saw the person in front of him shrouded in black air. The next moment, Song Yu disappeared, and Lu Wuxiu appeared. He was wearing a black brocade robe embroidered with red prints and edged with gold thread. His skin looked even paler against his red eyes. He had a high ponytail, and two black devil horns grew on his slightly fluffy black hair.
"Baibai... Senior Sister..."
Yan Baibai suddenly felt a tightness around her waist, and was embraced by Lu Wuxiu. She looked up and saw Lu Wuxiu looking down at her, his eyes a little moist and his face full of grievance.
Suddenly, a complex array of magic patterns began to appear on his face, first on his forehead, under his eyes, then on his slender neck, and finally beneath his clothes. To Yan Baibai's surprise, a red, flame-like magic pattern appeared on his forehead, something that hadn't been there two years ago.
"Lu Wuxiu, you..."
Before Yan Baibai finished speaking, Lu Wuxiu pressed her tightly into his arms, lowering his head and burying it in her neck. Yan Baibai could clearly feel his cautious breathing and his slightly trembling body.
