"A lot has happened in the demon world in the past two years. If it weren't for this spiritual tea, I don't know how I would have survived."
Elder Yin recalled his experiences of the past two years and glanced at the young men sitting at the table. He knew that after this, either he would be able to sail through thousands of mountains or face destruction. In short, no matter what the solution was, he should take a break.
"This spiritual tea is a specialty of my demon clan. You two should try it."
While Elder Yin was speaking, two more teacups appeared on the table of Yan Baibai and Lu Wuxiu. He pretended to pick up the teapot on the table to pour tea for Yan Baibai, but the teapot was snatched away by Yan Baibai with quick hands.
"Thank you, senior. The aroma of this tea makes me feel refreshed. I must taste it carefully."
Yan Baibai picked up the teapot and refilled it for Elder Yin first, then poured some for herself and Lu Wuxiu beside her. Her eyes moved around the table again before she gently placed the teapot on the small stove.
Of the three cups of tea on the table, two showed signs of having been touched, but one was still full, which belonged to the heartless Buddhist.
The heartless Buddhist has evil thoughts in his heart. He doesn't drink because he is afraid that drinking will dissipate the obsession in his heart. After all, he is a Buddhist. What he does may really hurt thousands of lives.
Concealing her thoughts, Yan Baibai gently lifted the gauze curtain on her hood, brought in the tea, and then lowered the gauze curtain to quickly cover her delicate chin that had just been slightly exposed. There was no mask under the hood, and she easily brought the tea to her mouth.
The temperature of the tea is slightly hot, and a light and lingering bitterness enters the taste buds after it enters the mouth. The tea goes down the throat and warms the whole lungs. Soon, bits of sweetness explode on the taste buds on the tip of the tongue, which catches people off guard. However, when the nose smells such a fragrance, it feels that this is within expectations.
These feelings only lasted for a blink of an eye. The teacup had just touched her lips when Yan Baibai couldn't help but push the cup back and take another sip.
After savoring it for a moment, Yan Baibai was willing to lift the gauze curtain and gently placed the teacup back on the stone table.
"This tea is excellent." Yan Baibai nodded in the direction of Elder Yin.
"Saintess, you have good taste." Elder Yin laughed heartily. His eyes lingered on the teacup in front of Jueqing Buddhist for a moment before he looked up at him: "Buddhist, don't you like drinking tea?"
Yan Baibai then followed Elder Yin's gaze and looked at the ruthless Buddhist disciple sitting opposite him. He was still sitting there as before. The tea in front of him was no longer emitting white mist, and his slender white right hand was holding a string of Buddhist beads which was placed right next to the teacup. It seemed that he had curled up slightly because of Elder Yin's sudden question.
The ruthless Buddhist opened his mouth, as if he wanted to say something, but stopped because of some memory.
"No." The ruthless Buddhist shook his head.
Seeing this, Yan Baibai suddenly recalled some scenes that flashed through his mind in the secret realm. Tu Shanqing was making tea. At first, Jueqing Buddhist didn't touch tea. Of course, in the end he drank it with her. If Yan Baibai guessed correctly, the tea that Tu Shanqing brewed should be the spiritual tea from the demon world.
"Oh, then why don't you try it?" Elder Yin's lips curled up slightly. Without waiting for Jueqing Buddhist's reply, he continued, "Is it because... you got tired of drinking it before?"
The ruthless Buddhist suddenly tightened his hands on the table. He looked at Elder Yin intently, his lips tightly pursed, but he said nothing.
"Why do you say that, Senior?" Seeing this, Yan Baibai knew what Elder Yin was about to say, so he took the initiative to play the supporting role. "If I'm not mistaken, the production of this spiritual tea should not be very large. How could anyone possibly get tired of it?"
"Hahaha, Saint, you don't know that this spiritual tea is controlled by our fox demon Tushan clan." Elder Yin did not expect that someone would cooperate with his words in this way, so he took up the conversation easily.
"Oh, but what does this have to do with the Buddhist being tired of drinking?" Yan Baibai asked again.
"The Tushan clan has a little girl who has been in poor health since she was a child, but the Buddhist sect in the world of immortal cultivation has a way to treat her." Elder Yin glanced at the bald head of the ruthless Buddhist disciple, then turned his head to look at Yan Baibai and continued, "The Tushan clan sent their little girl to the Buddhist sect for treatment, so naturally they had to give them some good things, and this spiritual tea is a good thing."
"Oh~~ You mean, as a Buddhist disciple, Jueqing Buddhist must have a lot of spiritual tea to drink, right?" Yan Baibai acted as if he suddenly understood something.
"That's not true. Even the best tea will make you sick of it if you drink too much." Elder Yin took a sip of the tea on the table and sighed. He said slowly, "It's just that the tea trees that grow spiritual tea are precious and need daily care. The demon world has been like this for two years now. I'm afraid the tea gardens are now destroyed."
The originally cheerful atmosphere suddenly became heavy, but Elder Yin seemed not to notice and continued to speak slowly: "The tea we are drinking now was given to me by the former queen."
Plop—the teacup in front of Jueqing Fozi's table fell over, and the tea spread on the table.
"Be careful, kid. This is the last bit of spiritual tea I have left." Elder Yin looked at the tea on the table with some regret, frowning and saying, "Tu Shanqing gave it to me. Do you understand?"
"Elder Yin!" The ruthless Buddhist disciple who had been silent all this time seemed to have reached the limit of his patience. He had not spoken for a long time, and when he suddenly shouted, his voice was low. His eyes had turned red at some point. He stared at the direction of Elder Yin, and anger finally appeared on his originally calm face.
"Please! You!" He said word by word, "Stop pretending to care for her."
