Mo Xi patted Mu Li's back gently to soothe her emotions.
"Once we solve these problems, we will go home," said Mo Xi.
Mu Li wiped her tears and nodded.
The two continue their journey to find the headquarters of the mysterious organization.
Along the way, they had to sleep in the open air, but each other's company made this difficult journey a little warmer.
One day, they came to a busy market.
"Let's go and find out some information." Mo Xi said.
At the market, they heard some rumors about a mysterious organization.
"I heard that there is a mysterious temple in a mountain in the west, and strange people often appear there." said a peddler.
Mu Li and Mo Xi decided to go to the mountain to find out.
The mountain road was rugged and it took them a long time to reach the temple.
The temple looks dilapidated, but it exudes a mysterious atmosphere.
"Be careful." Mo Xi warned again.
They walked into the temple, but there was no one inside.
"This place is so strange." Mu Li said.
Just then, they heard a low chanting sound.
Following the sound, they saw an old monk meditating in front of a Buddha statue.
"Master." Mo Xi saluted.
The old monk slowly opened his eyes: "You shouldn't come here."
Mu Li said, "Master, we are tracking down the whereabouts of the mysterious organization. We would appreciate your guidance."
The old monk sighed and said, "Everything has its cause and effect. Their headquarters is in a very dark place, and I don't know the exact location."
Mu Li and Mo Xi were a little disappointed, but they still thanked the old monk.
After leaving the temple, they continued to search for clues.
That night, Mu Li had a dream.
"Li'er, go to the Black Water Lake in the south. There you will find the answers you want." A voice sounded in the dream.
After Mu Li woke up, she told Mo Xi about the dream.
"Maybe this is a guide, let's go and take a look." Mo Xi said.
So they set out again towards the south.
After many days of travel, they finally arrived at Blackwater Lake.
The lake water was pitch black and had a chilly feel to it.
"It feels so eerie here." Mu Li said.
Just then, a small boat appeared on the lake.
"Get on board." A voice came from the boat.
Mu Li and Mo Xi hesitated for a moment, but still got on the boat.
The boat slowly sailed towards the center of the lake, and they didn't know what was waiting for them.
The boat stopped in the center of the lake, surrounded by thick fog, making it difficult to tell the direction.
"Where is this?" Mu Li nervously grabbed the corner of Mo Xi's clothes.
Mo Xi comforted him: "Don't be afraid, I'm here."
Suddenly, a figure slowly walked out of the fog. It was a haggard woman.
"Why are you here?" the woman asked in a trembling voice.
Mu Li quickly said, "We came here to track down the headquarters of a mysterious organization. Why are you here, young lady? Do you know anything?"
The woman was silent for a moment, then said, "That's an extremely evil place, deep under the lake. But it's fraught with danger. Once you enter, you might never get out."
Mu Li said firmly, "No matter how dangerous it is, we must go and eradicate them completely."
The woman sighed: "In that case, I can lead the way for you, but you must be mentally prepared."
Mo Xi and Mu Li nodded and followed the woman into the lake.
The light at the bottom of the lake was dim, and a strange atmosphere filled the air.
"Be careful, there is a trap here." The woman warned.
Sharp spikes popped out from the wall. Mo Xi was quick to pull Mu Li away.
After avoiding the traps and moving forward, they encountered all kinds of strange creatures and complicated mazes.
"Follow my steps and don't take the wrong path." The woman walked carefully in front.
The two held hands and nodded.
Finally, they came to a huge stone door.
"This is the entrance to the mysterious organization's headquarters," said the woman.
Mu Li and Mo Xi looked at each other, took a deep breath, and prepared to push open the stone door.
At this moment, the stone door slowly opened and a powerful force sucked them in.
When they gained their footing, they found themselves in a huge cave, surrounded by various mysterious runes and magical instruments.
"I've finally waited for you." A gloomy voice sounded.
A man in a black robe wearing a golden mask appeared in front of them, followed by a group of men in black with only their eyes exposed.
"Since you are here, don't leave! Today is the day you die." The man in black robe sneered.
Mu Li and Mo Xi looked at each other and saw a strong desire to fight in each other's eyes.
Mo Xi and Mu Li used all their skills to fight the black-robed man and his men to a standstill.
The magic weapon in Mu Li's hand shone with light, and every swing brought a powerful force, pushing the enemy back. Mo Xi's swordsmanship was superb, and wherever he went, the enemies fell to the ground.
"Hmph, don't think you can defeat us like this!" The man in black robe shouted angrily, forming seals with his hands, and a dark energy attacked them.
Mu Li and Mo Xi quickly joined forces to resist, but the force was too strong and they were knocked back a few steps.
"This is not a solution." Mo Xi said while panting. It was a pity that he was just a mortal now, otherwise how could he be bullied by Xiao Xiao like this!
Mu Li's eyes were determined: "Brother Crown Prince, we will definitely find his weakness."
"Host, the black-robed man's power comes from the runes on the wall!" the system suddenly reminded.
