Chapter 50 Mu Li Kills the Evil

Mu Li walked to the door of the ward and threw a few talismans on the door and windows. "Hmph, let's see where you can escape!"

Then he pushed the door open and went in. The ward was crowded with people.

"Huh? Whose little girl is this? She's so cute." A woman in a haute couture dress standing at the door heard the door open, turned around and saw Mu Li, and couldn't help but praise her.

Upon hearing this, the others turned around and looked at Mu Li.

"I'm afraid we've taken the wrong path?" a man next to him said nonchalantly.

"She looks a little familiar!" The woman looked at Mu Li for a while and continued.

"Most children look similar." The man glanced at Mu Li casually.

"No, I must have seen this child somewhere." The woman continued to recall.

The man ignored her and stared nervously at the unconscious old man on the hospital bed.

"Mu Bai, Mu Yang hasn't come yet? This is simply outrageous!" A well-dressed old man by the window asked with dissatisfaction.

"Dad, I've called them many times, but no one answered. Maybe the company is busy." A slicked-back man next to the old man said.

"Hmph, it's okay if you're busy at other times, but you're still busy at this critical juncture. I don't know if you're really busy or just pretending!" The old man had a fierce look on his face, and no one knew what he was thinking.

Mu Li surveyed the ward's inhabitants; each one possessed a hidden agenda. She moved calmly, a few crystal-clear jade stones appearing in her hands. As she moved, they were quietly placed on the surrounding ground, soon forming a formation within the ward.

Then she walked forward and stopped beside the bed. Looking at the unconscious old man on the bed, she saw a black shadow attached to his face, making it impossible to see his face clearly.

Mu Li's eyes were cold. She took out a talisman and quietly injected it into the old man's body. Then she took out another talisman paper and threw it at the old man on the sofa by the window at an extremely fast speed.

The talisman paper flickered with a faint light, as if it contained a mysterious power. The old man sensed the danger, but it was too late to dodge, and the talisman paper accurately stuck to her forehead.

In an instant, the old man's body froze and he couldn't move. His face showed a look of horror, his eyes wide open, as if he didn't understand what was happening.

The people around were also shocked by this sudden change and stepped back, away from Mu Li and the old man.

"Where did you come from, kid? What are you doing?" The greasy-haired and powdered man next to the old man saw this and shouted sternly, but with his unique hoarse voice and raised orchid fingers, it was really a bit funny.

Upon hearing this, Mu Li threw him a talisman to immobilize him, then remembered something and threw him a talisman to mute him, and then nodded with satisfaction.

"Girl, what did you do?" An old lady who was dressed elegantly but looked a little tired asked curiously beside the bed.

"Grandma, aren't you afraid of me?" Mu Li looked meaningfully at the people who were retreating far away and asked the old lady with a smile.

"You are so cute. I felt close to you when I saw you for the first time. How could I be afraid? Only people with ulterior motives would be afraid!" The old lady also understood yin and yang.

Mu Li's smile grew even brighter, "As expected of my grandmother!"

Mu Li took out an amulet and handed it to the old lady, "Grandma, keep this amulet close to your body, it can protect you." Mu Li said seriously.

The exquisite old lady looked at Mu Li with a sincere face, and inexplicably felt that what the girl said was true. Then she nodded, put the amulet properly into her pocket, and then looked at Mu Li carefully. The more she looked, the more familiar she seemed.

"Girl, are you wearing a Taoist robe?" the old lady asked with a smile.

"Yes, grandma, I grew up in the gym. My master picked me up and raised me."

The old lady felt distressed when she heard this. She hugged Mu Li and said, "Good child, you have suffered..."

At this moment, a golden light suddenly burst out from the old man on the hospital bed. A black shadow was forced out from the old man with a scream and fled everywhere. However, Mu Li had already set up a barrier around it. It had no way to escape, so it pounced on Mu Li with its fangs and claws.

Mu Li remained unfazed in the face of danger. She muttered something, formed seals with her hands, and a beam of spiritual light shot out, striking the black figure. The figure let out a shrill scream and dissipated in a wisp of black smoke.

Everyone was stunned. They originally thought that Mu Li was just an ordinary baby, but they didn't expect that she had such profound Taoist skills.

After dealing with the black shadow, Mu Li came to the old lady and looked at the old man on the hospital bed whose face was gradually becoming rosy. "Grandma, Grandpa is fine now, but he was invaded by evil spirits and his vitality was damaged. He needs to rest for a while." Mu Li said with a smile.

The old lady was surprised and moved to tears of gratitude. She held Mu Li's hand tightly and refused to let go. "Thank you, little girl. You are truly our family's benefactor!"

"Grandma, you're welcome. Although the evil spirit in grandpa's body has been removed, the person who harmed grandpa has not been caught yet. You still have to be careful." Mu Li looked at the "wooden man duo" by the window and reminded them.

Everyone looked at the two people with different expressions, with a myriad of thoughts in their minds.

"Okay, grandma, I understand. I will carry the amulet with me." The old lady was now even more convinced of Mu Li.

"But grandma, don't worry. The evil spirit in grandpa's body has been removed, and the person who planted the evil spirit will be retaliated against. I believe he won't come out to harm people again in the short term." Mu Li said as she looked at the two people by the window. She saw that the fierce old man was pale and looked like he was about to faint at any time.
