Chapter 220: Chaos in the Yin-Yang Realm

Mo Xi and Mu Yang took a deep breath and charged at the massive monster simultaneously. Mo Xi was surrounded by a dense dark aura, and as he swung his sword, streams of black sword energy shot out like a dragon emerging from the sea, charging straight at the monster. Mu Yang waved his hands, muttering something, and summoned several massive pillars of flame, which blasted towards the monster from different directions.

Enraged by the attacks, the monster temporarily abandoned its focus on Mu Li and turned to face Mo Xi and Mu Yang. It opened its maw, and a torrent of energy, mingled with both yin and yang, erupted, colliding with Mo Xi's sword energy and Mu Yang's pillar of fire. For a moment, a blazing light and a deafening roar erupted. The powerful energy surges unleashed a fierce wind, sending sand and rocks, along with both yin and yang energy, scattering everywhere.

Taking advantage of the monster's moment of distraction, Mu Li unleashed her skills, closing in on it like a ghost. Her eyes were fixed on the shimmering runes on the monster's body, her heart pounding in her chest. With every step closer, she could feel the powerful and chaotic energy emanating from the runes.

When Mu Li finally reached the monster's body, she reached out a trembling hand and touched the rune. The power from the rune surged through her body like an electric current, leaving her slightly numb. But she gritted her teeth, focused all her energy, and began to adjust the disordered runes according to the correct rune arrangement of the Yin-Yang Realm's core formation.

As Mu Li moved, the monster seemed to sense danger. It roared angrily and began to tremble violently. Its attack on Mo Xi and Mu Yang became even more frantic, trying to break free of the two and turn around to attack Mu Li.

Mo Xi and Mu Yang were fully aware of Mu Li's current danger. They desperately tried their best, casting their strongest spells to hold the monster back. Mo Xi unleashed a forbidden spell from the underworld, and black cracks appeared in the sky. From them, endless netherworld fire poured down on the monster like a waterfall. Mu Yang burned his own spiritual energy, increasing the power of the flames to the extreme. The flames transformed into a giant phoenix, swooping down on the monster.

The monster's movements slowed slightly under the attack of the two, but it still desperately wanted to turn around and attack Mu Li. Just as Mu Li was adjusting the last rune, the monster finally broke free from Mo Xi and Mu Yang's restraints, turned its head sharply, and grabbed Mu Li with its huge claws.

Mu Li had already finished adjusting her runes, but it was too late to dodge. In the nick of time, Mo Xi abandoned his spell and transformed into a streak of black light, instantly appearing before Mu Li. He spread his arms and used his body to shield Mu Li from the monster's fatal blow.

"Brother Moxi!" Mu Li screamed in horror.

The monster's claws grabbed Mo Xi's back fiercely, and blood splattered immediately. Mo Xi groaned, and his body was about to fall, but he still held on and did not fall.

At that moment, the adjusted rune shone with a powerful light, rapidly spreading throughout the monster's body. The monster roared in pain, its body twisting violently, its once formidable strength rapidly dissipating under the influence of the light. Finally, the monster transformed into a ball of yin and yang energy, slowly dispersing into the air.

Mu Li quickly supported Mo Xi, tears welling up in her eyes: "Brother Mo Xi, how are you? Why are you so stupid..."

Mo Xi smiled weakly: "I'm fine, as long as you are safe..."

Mu Yang also hurried over and looked at the injured Mo Xi with a worried look on his face: "Don't talk for now, let's find a way to heal him quickly."

Mu Li also reacted after hearing this, and quickly took out the spiritual spring water and healing pills from the space, and fed them to Mo Xi.

"Cough cough...Ali, do you want to murder your husband? If he wasn't beaten to death by the monster, he would be choked to death by you..." Mo Xi coughed because of choking.

"Brother Moxi, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it!" Mu Li withdrew her hand and apologized awkwardly.

"It's okay, don't worry, I will always be with you!" Mo Xi touched Mu Li's hair and said.

Mu Li's eyes turned red again when she heard this. "Well, you mustn't say anything out of turn."

"good."

At this moment, the chaotic edges of the Yin-Yang boundary began to shift. The Yin and Yang energies gradually calmed down, returning to their respective boundaries. The blurred Yin-Yang boundary in the sky also became clear. It seemed that with the monster's destruction, the imbalance in the Yin-Yang boundary had been initially resolved.

But all three knew that things weren't so simple; there must be a deeper conspiracy waiting to be uncovered... After a brief rest and a simple care for Mo Xi's wounds, they decided to continue deeper into the edge of the Yin-Yang realm, seeking the truth behind all this. Along the way, they tread cautiously, ever vigilant to their surroundings. As the chaotic surroundings gradually returned to normal, a vague sense of unease lingered.

Suddenly, an ancient palace appeared before them. It exuded a mysterious aura, its doors tightly shut and covered in strange runes. These runes were similar to those on the monsters before, yet more complex and profound.

"This palace doesn't look simple. The root cause of the imbalance of yin and yang may be inside." Mo Xi looked at the palace with determination in his eyes.

The three of them slowly approached the palace. As they neared the gate, runes suddenly lit up, and a powerful force enveloped them...

The powerful force bound Mo Xi, Mu Li and Mu Yang tightly. They were like being trapped in an invisible cage, unable to move. They could only watch the runes on the palace gate flashing more and more dazzlingly.

"The power of this rune is so strong, what should we do?" Mu Yang struggled hard, veins bulging on his forehead, but it was of no avail.
