Mo Xi seized the opportunity, flew forward, and engaged in close combat with the monster.
After a fierce confrontation, the weirdo gradually fell into a disadvantage.
"Just wait, I'm not the only one in danger on this island." The weirdo said something harsh and turned to run away.
Mo Xi and Mu Li did not dare to take it lightly and continued to explore the island carefully.
As they walked, they came to an ancient palace.
The palace gates were closed, but a powerful mysterious force permeated the surroundings.
"This should be where the Star Mirror is hidden." Mo Xi said.
Mu Li nodded: "But how do I open this door?"
Just as they were thinking, a puzzle suddenly appeared on the gate.
"The door will only open if you solve this puzzle." A mysterious voice came.
Mo Xi and Mu Li studied the puzzle carefully. As time passed, they racked their brains and finally found the answer.
The door slowly opened, and it was pitch black inside.
They walked into the palace cautiously, and suddenly, countless mechanisms were triggered and sharp arrows shot from all directions.
Mo Xi and Mu Li dodged left and right, dealing with the situation with difficulty.
Finally, they came to the depths of the palace and saw a shining platform, on which was placed the star mirror they had been searching for.
Just as they reached out to grab the Star Mirror, a powerful barrier appeared, blocking them out.
"There is a barrier! Brother Moxi, what should we do?" Mu Li said anxiously.
Mo Xi thought calmly for a moment and said, "There must be a way to break the barrier. Let's look for it carefully."
After a careful search, Mo Xi found pieces of stone slabs engraved with strange patterns.
"Perhaps this is the key to breaking the barrier," Mo Xi said, "but these patterns are so complex and disorganized that they don't look like a complete painting at all."
"Could it be a puzzle?" Mu Li stared at the slate for a long time, and suddenly an idea flashed on her mind: Isn't this a puzzle? "Brother Mo Xi, this might be a puzzle with the pieces in a shuffled order. We just need to put the complete pattern together."
"Okay, let's try it."
So the two of them followed the instructions on the stone slab and successfully pieced together the pattern on it.
"Mermaid? So beautiful!" Mu Li was stunned when she saw the mermaid on the stone slab.
"Look carefully at what she is holding in her hand?" Mo Xi reminded helplessly.
"Mirror?" Mu Li suddenly realized, "I know, that's the Starlight Mirror we're looking for!"
"Um."
"The puzzle is complete, but the barrier still doesn't respond. Is there something wrong?" Mu Li asked in confusion, gently stroking the puzzle on the stone slab.
Suddenly, there was a sharp pain in the fingertips, as if they were scratched by something sharp.
"Ah!" Mu Li exclaimed and withdrew her hand, but found that there was no wound on her finger.
"What's wrong?" Mo Xi asked hurriedly.
"I clearly felt my fingertip was cut just now, how come there is no wound?" Mu Li asked, stretching out her finger.
Upon hearing this, Mo Xi hurriedly lowered his head to check, only to see a golden light flowing along the joints of the puzzle. Soon the golden light spread across the entire stone slab, and finally converged on the mirror in the mermaid's hand. The mirror instantly burst out with a strong light, which was reflected onto the barrier, and the barrier instantly disappeared without a trace.
When the two were hesitating whether to go forward, the Starlight Mirror automatically flew into Mu Li's hands, emitting a faint light.
Mu Li's heart trembled slightly, her nose felt inexplicably sore, and she couldn't help but say in her heart: "I'm back." This strange yet somewhat familiar feeling made Mu Li feel a little confused.
At the same time, in the Crystal Palace under the sea, the Mermaid Emperor and Queen seemed to sense something, tears welling in their eyes with excitement, "She's back, she's back, it must be her!"
"Come! Follow me to the ancient island!"
