Chapter 8 The Desperate Brother Waiting for Death

Jiang Li couldn't imagine how his brother had been getting along during the days he was away.

After he came back from the mountain, he must have looked for her everywhere. When he couldn't find her, he squatted in the corner in despair and waited to die.

She had done so many bad things to her brothers and sisters, but they were still willing to believe her and even risked their own lives to wait for her.

The more these two children love and depend on their sister, the deeper their hatred for her will be when they grow up.

Jiang Li touched her brother's little face. He was obviously a very handsome little boy, but he tortured himself for her and became neither human nor ghost.

If she had come back a few days later, the little guy would have died of dehydration if not starvation.

Jiang Li's mood was very complicated, and she couldn't describe how she felt.

Her brother's behavior was undoubtedly foolish, and she completely disapproved of it. But deep down, she felt a touch of emotion, a touch of emotion for this profound brother-sister bond.

How helpless must a child be to choose to believe someone after they have been severely hurt?

Jiang Yi's lips were so dry that the corners of his mouth were cracked and his lips were chapped.

Jiang Li took a glass of water and applied it to his lips bit by bit to help him absorb water.

Jiang Yi's lips became moist again, but he was still immersed in a sweet dream and did not wake up.

The house hadn't been cooked for a long time, and the stove was already cold.

Yao Qiaoyun quickly lit a fire and cooked a pot of porridge, and also heated up the water tank.

If the two children got their bodies soiled by feces, Jiang Li would fetch water to help them wash.

But the situation in this family made the two of them feel that they couldn't do without someone.

Jiang Li is so busy taking care of her two children that she doesn't even have time to cook or wash dishes. Her only healthy brother is now tortured into this state, and it's unknown when he will wake up.

The two men finished their work but were reluctant to leave. Jiang Li filled a basin with hot water, simply washed his brother's limbs, and carefully tucked in the corners of his quilt before leaving.

"Uncle, aunt, it's getting late. You've seen the situation at home. I really can't keep you here any longer."

Jiang Li smiled bitterly. Her two children and her younger brother needed someone to stay with them, and she didn't even have enough time to see them off.

"Jiang Li, I want to stay and take care of you for a few days. Is that okay with you?"
