[Biography (II)
How heavy is the only nine-tailed fox in the world?
Zhuo Feng was not very clear about it at first, until the elders of the three fox tribes came to surround him and begged him to follow them back to the fox tribe, to become the young master of the fox tribe or even the king in the future. Only then did he realize that this nine-tailed fox bloodline not only brought him strength and allowed him to successfully take revenge, but it also played a more important role than he imagined.
In order to successfully pass through the growth period, Zhuo Feng agreed to the request of the fox elder.
Life in the Fox Tribe was even more comfortable than Zhuo Feng had imagined. At least he no longer had to worry about spirit stones and elixirs. Aside from the daily brainwashing rhetoric from those people, which bothered him a bit, everything else was quite satisfying. It was just that a life of excessive peace always made one overthink things.
Zhuo Feng wanted revenge, but it was impossible with his current ability. However, he could start by exposing the evil deeds of the Qingfeng Sect and letting all creatures in the Tianchen Continent know their despicable methods.
He mentioned to the Snow Fox Clan leader that members of the Qingfeng Sect were capturing small demons on the edge of the demon world. Of course, he carefully concealed his own experience, saying only that he had nearly been captured by the Qingfeng Sect, hence his knowledge. The Snow Fox Clan leader seemed to take the matter very seriously, dispatching personnel to investigate the edge of the demon world overnight. Zhuo Feng, believing the matter was resolved, waited nearly two weeks for further information, but received no further information.
Qingfeng Sect? Haha, even the demon clan hasn't heard anything about it.
The Snow Fox Clan, and even the Fox Clan, didn't want to bother with the matter. After all, their cherished little demons hadn't been captured, hadn't they? So, what did they have to do with the rest of the weaker demons struggling on the fringes of the demon world?
The weak are destined to be eliminated.
This is an unspoken rule known to the entire Tianchen Continent.
Zhuo Feng was calm. He knew the demon race's coldness and he himself had no genuine desire to seek justice for those little demons. He simply wanted to use this as a means of revenge, or perhaps to cause some trouble for the Qingfeng Sect.
But things don't go as he wishes, what should he do?
That’s easy, just let everything be as he wishes!
One hundred and fifty years later, upon reaching adulthood, Zhuo Feng completely controlled the entire fox clan. He became the true king of the fox clan, and from then on, no demon in the demon world dared to look down on him even slightly because of his age.
After becoming the Fox King, the first thing Zhuo Feng did was to spread all the evidence he had collected over the years about the Qingfeng Sect capturing and abusing little demons throughout the Tianchen Continent.
Zhuo Feng was so excited for the first time. He was looking forward to the continent's reaction, and what would happen to the Qingfeng Sect. Would they be despised by everyone and executed? Would cultivators disdain to associate with them, and would the Qingfeng Sect's disciples be ostracized everywhere?
Unfortunately, the greater his expectations, the greater his disappointment.
After the incident came to light, the Qingfeng Sect wasn't significantly affected. While some kindhearted individuals might have secretly cursed the sect for the evidence, the overwhelming majority, having learned the Qingfeng Sect's methods for taming demon pets "for free," rushed to imitate them. Even among cultivators, a subtle trend emerged: competing to see who could tame a new demon pet the fastest, and whose demon pet was the most obedient.
Then Zhuo Feng realized that he had been too kind all along.
If they are not kind, how can they still have any expectations for human cultivators, hoping that they can empathize with the monsters and make them pity and respect them?
At this point, the last trace of emotion in Zhuo Feng's heart was completely stripped away.
What would a powerful being, utterly devoid of love and affection, harboring hatred for human cultivators, do for revenge? Slaughter all human cultivators? Of course not. Although he had become the king of the fox clan, the demons at Zhuo Feng's disposal were far fewer than the human cultivators. To put it bluntly, the contrast was horrific.
Openly provoking a war against the human race is not a wise choice, and it is impossible for the demon race to respond to calls and work together.
Since open conspiracy doesn't work, let's just resort to conspiracy.
Zhuo Feng made drastic changes to the internal structure of the fox clan, while at the same time provoking strong men everywhere in the demon world, little by little he brought all the strong men of the demon clan under his command. At the same time, he did not forget to send some demons or human servants to go undercover in various sects of the human clan.
Naturally, the demons were not left behind by him. That group of unkempt demons who advocated doing whatever they wanted and had no bottom line could not be won over by just talking to them. Face was something that could be discarded at any time for them. Only sufficient benefits could lure them on board.
People from this kind of race cannot be teammates, so he just kept them hanging and figured out the internal structure of the demon race and the love-hate relationship between the demon realm lords.
Without going into details about the process, when Zhuo Feng completely gained the right to speak in the demon clan, he mobilized those spies who had been undercover for many years, put a huge blame on the demon clan, and provoked disputes within and outside the human cultivators.
The ignorant demons were being slandered. As is their usual style, they naturally wouldn't bother proving their innocence. Instead, they would naturally assume that someone of their own kind was causing trouble and implicating them. But what was the point of saying that at this point? With the human cultivators already riding on their faces, of course they had to fight back.
Zhuo Feng, who was watching the fight between the two tigers from the mountain, has been constantly stirring up the muddy water between the two tribes, and adding some fuel from time to time.
When the right opportunity came, he openly joined the camp to fight against human cultivators under the pretext that "Qingfeng Sect led all human cultivators to abuse the young demons."
Zhuo Feng never forgot his hatred for Qingfeng Sect, nor did he stop hating those who later imitated Qingfeng Sect's methods of taming demon pets.
He just knew that relying solely on the tragic experiences of the demon race to awaken the conscience of human cultivators would not work. If he wanted to prevent the harm of the little demons without supporters, he could only completely eradicate the trend of "raising demon pets in the Tianchen Continent."
However, if they want to make the cultivators pay attention to their demands, they can only inflict pain on the cultivators themselves.
Zhuo Feng succeeded.
Under the joint attack of the demons and monsters, the human cultivators were defeated.
From then on, the status of the demon race on the continent rose, and the Tianchen Continent was no longer dominated by the human race, wantonly looking down on the other two races.]
After Yan Jue finished reading the biography, he immediately went back and read it again.
If Ah Qing got the script for a supporting role, then Zhuo Feng got the script for a true protagonist. Turning misfortune into good fortune, turning danger into safety, and even changing the power structure of an entire continent—that's the kind of treatment Long Aotian gets.
But why was Zhuo Feng unexpectedly tracked down by the people of Qingfeng Sect after swallowing the purple blood dew?
Something happened that shouldn't have happened in the original plot. Was it because of Zhuo Feng's own negligence, or was it some mysterious external force?
Yan Jue was extremely anxious and didn't dare to delay for even a second before he quickly summoned 91 to inquire.
91 arrived late, but spoke first, "I can tell the players the reason, but similarly, please don't tell the cubs about our following conversation. Otherwise, the consequences will be as serious as telling the cubs the character's biography."
So serious? Yan Jue nodded seriously.
"Before this, I must inform the players that the planes within the universe do not always operate smoothly upon their birth. The Rulers can only provide basic laws for those newly born planes. How they develop in the future depends entirely on the planes themselves."
"Some planes get better and better, while others, on the other hand, bring themselves to ruin. For example, themes like apocalyptic wastelands that often appear in player-plane literature actually happened in other planes."
"There are many other reasons that I cannot disclose. However, the Lords of Law are definitely not indifferent to the collapse of the plane."
"For convenience, the Lords of Law created the first generation system. They selected those with excellent reputations and abilities from the dead creatures of the various planes. According to their wishes, they were assigned to carry the system to various planes to provide assistance."
"For the first tens of thousands of years, the system and the hosts operated smoothly. However, as time went on, and as those originally good people gained more power, they began to harbor countless ambitions. They wanted to break free from the system and live in true, eternal freedom."
“They want to be gods.”
"The fact that they can continue to live consciously is a gift from the Law Masters, yet they greedily demand more."
"Players can imagine the process themselves. The ending is that those who resorted to violence were executed, and those who did not participate had their memories erased by the law masters after completing their mission, and were transformed back into a ball of pure energy. The original system was destroyed, and a new system, that is, us, was created and deployed to various planes to implement new methods of rescue."
When Yan Jue heard this, his eyes widened and his mouth opened, but the system continued.
"Those rebels are dead, but the various methods they created across many planes to escape the system still exist in some concrete form."
"For example, if the barriers of some planes become thinner, some people who accidentally acquire the abilities left behind by the rebels can travel through other planes. Or, because of the rebels' energy, some people may see fragments of the future and mistakenly believe they have been reborn and know the future. Or, if they see the future or past of other planes and the barriers become thinner, they can travel through time with their memories..."
"You mean, in the world of Burning Wind, there's a so-called time traveler with memories?"
Yan Jue no longer knew what he was saying. His voice was erratic, and the pitch was getting higher and higher. "Because this time traveler knew the plot of the Burning Wind plane, he interfered with the plot line and caused Burning Wind to be injured by the Qingfeng Sect?"
91: "Yes. What is recorded in the biography is the original future of the Burning Wind Plane."
Having said that, 91 didn't mind telling Yan Jue a little more: "The time traveler saw the past of the Burning Wind plane, and coupled with the rebels' misleading energy, he thought he had traveled into a novel. Burning Wind is the villain in the novel."
"Of course, this is just the traverser's own understanding."
"The time traveler traveled back to when Zhuo Feng was just born, which is the starting point of the entire plot. Zhuo Feng was able to remain safe and sound because during that time the protagonist was also developing his own strength and gaining a foothold in the other world."
Yan Jue held his breath in his chest and almost died of anger.
He was thinking, "It's just someone who traveled through time and thought they were Long Aotian. What's the big deal? Zhuo Feng can fight them." However, he never expected that someone who knew the plot had traveled through time. What did this mean? It meant that any future opportunities Zhuo Feng had would be snatched away by this damned time traveler!
He didn't believe the time traveler was honest. If so, how could the Qingfeng Sect's people have been able to track down Zhuo Feng? The biggest variable was the time traveler, so didn't that mean the time traveler and the Qingfeng Sect were connected? Yan Jue had no other reason for the time traveler to seek out the Qingfeng Sect, other than the purple blood ganoderma.
It is obvious that he is trying to snatch something from Zhuo Feng. In the future, for the sake of the human race, the time traveler will inevitably oppose the "villain" everywhere.
The problem is, Zhuo Feng is a ghost villain!
Having only read the first biography before, Yan Jue thought that the Tianchen Continent was a three-tribe continent, or at least a two-way division of power. The creatures on the continent all had the bottom line of maintaining superficial peace and friendship. Even if there were any small moves, they would be done quietly. The Qingfeng Sect was just a villain in the world of cultivation who had to be killed by everyone for the sake of face.
However, after reading the second biography, he discovered from those obscure descriptions that the Tianchen Continent is a situation where one cultivator is the only one in power. The two non-human races, the demons and monsters, are all "inferior" races. The self-proclaimed superior and powerful human cultivators look down on them and never care about their opinions.
Zhuo Feng is the "changer".
From the perspective of either the demon race or the human race, it seems difficult to tell right from wrong. However, everything has its cause and effect, and countless experiences have taught us that where there is resistance, there is oppression. Yan Jue can only say that Zhuo Feng emerged in line with the development of the Tianchen Continent and is a reasonable character to promote the world's plot line.
Zhuo Feng is the absolute protagonist, but not an absolute villain.
Helplessly, the time traveler believed that what he saw was a novel and that Zhuo Feng was a big villain.
Yan Jue no longer dared to think about how frustrating it would be for Zhuo Feng to want to make a big move in the Tianchen Continent, no, right now, when he wanted to make a big move in the Fox Clan, but was constantly and precisely interfered with by someone who knew the plot.
He didn't know whether Zhuo Feng could bear this grievance, but he couldn't bear it!
"91, your Lord of Laws is aware of the remaining problems in certain planes. Has he proposed any solutions to solve them?"
Yan Jue spoke very tactfully. He did not dare to say that the law was ineffective in front of 91, the number one fanatic of the law.
"Plane exists independently. Once a mature plane is established, the Rule Masters are not allowed to arbitrarily change it."
91 replied sternly, "And the players should have noticed that the rebellious legacy doesn't just affect one person, nor can one person wield power solely within their own plane."
"Besides, by raising the cubs, the players are already helping the Masters of Law to save the plane and prevent the impact from expanding, right? This is the plan."
Yan Jue: “…”
"What about the planes with rebel power? Don't care?"
Could it be that the laws, having been bitten by a snake once, are afraid of ropes for ten years and dare not bind humans anymore, so they have to take slow-release measures, letting the energy be consumed by the "lucky ones" and consider the problem solved?
91 seemed to know what Yan Jue was thinking and asked, "Do players have a better way?"
"Not everyone who receives an opportunity will turn evil. Some people behave themselves to the letter and never interfere with the plane's operations. Take the player plane, for example. These powers are opportunities quietly bestowed upon the creatures of the plane by the laws. The outcome depends entirely on how one manages them."
"What? What!" Yan Jue was shocked. "Holy shit, have there been time travelers or reincarnated people in my dimension? Are there any now? Can you tell me where they are?"
You can tell he's really panicking.
91: "...Players, please listen carefully. Those who travel through time and space are just common examples. Some humans, after coming into contact with the power of defectors, will simply glimpse the scenery of other planes. These are just a small number of examples, not all."
"Have players never wondered why there are so many novels in their own world that overlap with the power systems described in the worlds of Noer Zhuofeng, Aqing, and others, and share so many similarities?"
Yan Jue was stunned: "Is that so?"
It turns out that some great novel writers actually had real adventures and their stories were not just made up?
After calming down a bit, Yan Jue realized a serious problem: "We actually had the power of rebels here before, is it still there now?"
"No. Before the system lands on a plane, it will exclude planes that haven't completely absorbed the rebels' power."
Yan Jue was still breathing heavily when he thought of the biography of Ah Qing he had read not long ago. Something struck him, and he asked, "So, are there also time travelers in Ah Qing and Noel's world?"
He still remembered that in Ah Qing's biography, the Stone Tribe's altar was attacked by a mysterious force.
"In Aqing's world, there are reborn people with imitation systems. In Noel's world, players can ask questions after unlocking the second character biography."
"Imitation system?" Yan Jue felt that he had received too much stimulation today.
"One of the remnants of the rebel past."
Yan Jue patted his chest and did not communicate with the system anymore. Instead, he planned to calm himself down first, digest the information and report it.
The author has something to say:
