Then he carried Liu Nian to the living room like he was carrying a child.
After putting her down, he strode towards the bathroom without waiting for Liu Nian's reaction.

However, when he opened the bathroom door, he found no one except for the things that hadn't been tidied up on the glass counter and water stains all over the floor.
He reacted quickly, walking towards Liu Nian's room with a dark expression.
As he passed by Liu Nian, he was in a hurry and didn't notice the smile on her face.
That smile had a hint of triumph in it.
System: "Host, the male lead is getting anxious!"
"I guess so."
When Gu Minhang came out of the room with a sullen face, he met Liu Nian's ambiguous smile and realized that he might have been tricked by Liu Nian.
He didn't know whether to be happy or worried at that moment: "Year after year."
Liu Nian looked at him innocently, feigning confusion, and asked, "Gu, what are you looking for?"
Gu Minhang pursed his lips, remained silent for a moment, and finally sighed.
"I called you earlier, why did it take you so long to answer?"
Liu Nian pouted and looked at Liu Liu.
"Giving it a bath is such a hassle."
So that's how it is.
Gu Minhang secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
He genuinely believed there was another man in Liu Nian's house and had even planned to find him and beat him up.
Realizing he had misunderstood, he finally felt relieved.
Have you eaten yet?
Liu Nian nodded: "I've already eaten."
"Then come out and have something to eat with me! I haven't eaten yet." He said this with a somewhat pitiful look in his eyes.
Liu Nian rolled her eyes and asked, "Isn't this a bad idea?"
"What's wrong with it?" Gu Minhang asked, puzzled.
Liu Nian remained silent, confident that Gu Minhang, with his sharp mind, would surely understand her meaning.
Gu Minhang pondered for a moment, then nodded.
"Then I'll go by myself."
After saying that, he left.
Liu Nian stared in disbelief as he left the room and closed the door behind him.
What the heck?! Why did Gu Minhang leave?!
However, Liu Nian was not stunned for long before Gu Minhang came up and knocked on the door again.
After opening the door, Liu Nian fell silent upon seeing what he was carrying.
"It's really inconvenient for you to go out like this, so I had someone deliver food over. We'll eat at home."
As he spoke, he carried his things toward the restaurant.
Liu Nian silently followed behind him.
Gu Minhang bought quite a lot of things: three plates of seafood, two plates of home-style dishes, and a soup.
Liu Nian silently swallowed, not because she was greedy, but because she really couldn't eat too much. She had been eating too much lately and was having indigestion.
However, Gu Minhang saw this as greed.
He smiled and served Liu Nian her rice: "It's all yours."
Liu Nian: "..." She doesn't want to.
In the end, she still had dinner with Gu Minhang.
After the meal, Gu Minhang suggested going downstairs for a walk to aid digestion.
Liu Nian didn't actually eat much; she made excuses like not liking seafood or that takeout wasn't very good.
Gu Minhang suggested going for a walk, and Liu Nian could only nod in agreement.
While taking a walk, Gu Minhang encountered other couples walking their dogs, and he suddenly had the idea of getting a dog himself.
He asked, "Niannian, do you like dogs?"
Liu Nian looked up at him and saw a hint of expectation in his eyes. In order not to extinguish the light in his eyes, she nodded.
"like."
"Then let's raise one!"
Liu Nian immediately shook her head; she couldn't handle a puppy with such a mischievous and unruly nature: "You can keep it, I... I'll keep Liu Liu."
Gu Minhang thought it made sense; Liu Nian kept a cat while he kept a dog, which was a good match.
"Okay, how about we go to the pet store sometime?"

The decision to get a dog was made so suddenly.
After returning from her walk, Liu Nian directly asked the system for a bottle of digestive tablets.
I have class tomorrow.
Gu Minhang also got up very early today; he made a special trip to take Liu Nian to school.
Liu Nian only realized that Gu Minhang was waiting for her after she went downstairs.
"Every year, I will take you to school."

Ding Tiantian was under a tree not far from the school gate.
Liu Nian found it strange. Ding Tiantian usually went back and forth between the classroom and the dormitory, so it was a miracle that he saw her here, especially so early in the morning.

Ding Tiantian was lost in thought and didn't notice the passing of time.
"Sweetie!" he said, gently nudging her shoulder.
She had called out several times, but Ding Tiantian maintained the same expression, seemingly lost in thought.
Ding Tiantian, who was suddenly pushed, snapped back to her senses and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that it was Liu Nian.
He greeted her, "Liu Nian."
Liu Nian nodded, then asked in confusion, "Why are you staying here?"
Ding Tiantian smiled and took Liu Nian's arm: "Of course I'm here waiting for you!"
Liu Nian didn't believe her at all!
Normally when she comes to school, Ding Tiantian is still in the dormitory! Today is so unusual, something must be wrong.
However, Liu Nian didn't intend to ask; if Ding Tiantian wanted to tell, she would naturally do so herself.
