It was raining heavily tonight, and even holding an umbrella was useless; Su Ke was completely soaked.
He closed the umbrella as he ran.
Using his long legs, he rushed to the accident scene in less than two minutes. Before the police could react, he had already grabbed Liu Nian and carried her away.
"How are you? Where does it hurt?" Su Ke looked at the woman's unusually pale face in his arms and felt a sudden panic in his heart.
Liu Nian looked at Su Ke, who was holding her, forced a smile, and whispered, "I'm fine." Then she fainted.
Liu Nian fainted, and Su Ke immediately shouted anxiously, "Where's the ambulance! Did you call an ambulance?"
"The ambulance will be here soon, don't panic." The police officer realized what was happening.

Su Ke held Liu Nian tightly, not knowing when the ambulance would arrive, and planned to take a taxi to the hospital himself.
But with the heavy rain, it was difficult to hail a taxi.
Fortunately, the ambulance arrived quickly.
Su Ke carried Liu Nian directly into the ambulance. Almost as soon as the ambulance door opened, he didn't even wait for the medical staff to put down the bed frame. With a long stride, he easily carried the girl in his arms into the ambulance.
"Sir, please place the patient on the bed so we can examine her." The medical staff acted quickly, immediately taking out their equipment to examine Liu Nian.
"The patient has multiple abrasions, but they are not serious. The reason he fainted is likely due to a head injury, and the possibility of a concussion cannot be ruled out."
Su Ke remained on edge, looking at Liu Nian on the hospital bed. He pursed his dry lips and said, "Please, please don't let anything happen to her."
He didn't know what was wrong with him. This moment filled him with fear—fear of losing her, fear that she wouldn't wake up. This feeling was so strange.
Liu Nian and he had only met three times; how could he be influenced by her? Why?
Could it be that he's fallen for her without even realizing it?! That's absurd! How could that be?! How could he possibly like a woman so much older than him?!
"Please rest assured, we will do our best to make sure she's alright." The medical staff, who were administering medication to Liu Nian, heard him say this and, out of habit, offered words of comfort.
Su Ke sat quietly to the side, staring blankly at Liu Nian's bloodless face.
On the other side, Li Yao received the news immediately after Liu Nian's car accident.
He was on his way home when his assistant's phone rang. He saw it was a call from the police and, though puzzled, answered it anyway.
Upon hearing the news that Liu Nian had been in a car accident, he immediately informed his boss.
Li Yao's perpetually indifferent face changed instantly in that moment.
Assistant Xie easily detected the urgency in his tone: "Turn around."
When the two arrived at the scene, Liu Nian had already been taken to the hospital.
