After sending Liu Nian to Pei Qing's hotel, Feng Guiyu left.
He didn't say he would pick her up today.

Several of these shops sell dumplings.
I chose the one with the highest rating, and walked for more than ten minutes to find the storefront using the navigation.
As soon as she entered, her clear, loud voice rang out: "Boss, one order of fresh meat dumplings, extra generous, to go."
The proprietress, busy in the kitchen, replied to her in a strong voice.
"Okay, pay first and then pick up your food. It'll be 20 yuan in total."

Because when we met before, he always addressed me respectfully as "Big Brother," without any of the enthusiasm he showed now.
This also led to him being completely unaware that Liu Nian actually liked him.
Some of his colleagues were next to him, and they were resting at the moment.

Feng Guiyu said to Liu Nian on the other end of the phone, "I have a case to handle today, so I might not be home. Remember to come home and have dinner with Mom."

Hearing him say that, everyone had an "I understand" look on their faces, which left Feng Guiyu feeling confused.
Hearing Feng Guiyu's words, Liu Nian returned to the Feng family.
Apart from Feng's mother and a nanny, there was no one else in the Feng family.
Feng Cheng has lived abroad for many years and rarely returns to China. Now, the two Feng brothers, one manages a company and the other is a policeman, so neither of them has much time to come back and visit their mother.
Before Liu Nian moved out, she would often accompany Feng's mother for meals and chats. Now that Liu Nian has moved out, Feng's mother is all alone, and it seems a bit lonely.
