Chapter 31 Gu Minhang shuhaige.net

Who is that woman?! Why does she look so familiar to him?! What's she doing on the plane?! Where is she going?

A sharp pain shot through his head, tormenting him to the point of despair. He gasped for breath, his face turning deathly pale.

When his assistant, who was sitting next to him, noticed that his boss was not behaving well, he rushed over to check on him and calmly called the flight attendant.

As Gu Minhang was tortured into a deep sleep, scenes flashed through his mind, playing like a movie in his dreams.

Why do you play with knives?

"Civil aviation is truly a treasure trove!"

When Gu Minhang woke up again, he was lying in a hospital abroad.

His assistant breathed a huge sigh of relief when he saw that he was awake.

"Boss, you're awake."

Gu Minhang hummed in agreement, his mind still replaying the scenes from his dream. The thought of them gave him a terrible headache; the images were bizarre and fantastical, making them seem incredibly mysterious to him.

His assistant observed his complexion: "Boss, the doctor said you fainted due to overwork. Are you feeling better now?"

Gu Minhang rubbed his temples: "Let's go get discharged."

Upon receiving the order, his assistant worked with exceptional efficiency, completing the task in just a few minutes.

Gu Minhang directly contacted the partners and discussed the project in a straightforward manner.

He was in no mood to work at all; he just wanted to get back as soon as possible so he could sort out his thoughts and figure out the images that had appeared in his dreams like in a movie, and about that woman.

At night, in the presidential suite of a star-rated hotel, Gu Minhang stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking down at the bustling night market from dozens of floors above.

His thoughts drifted far away, the image in his mind fixed on a woman's stunningly beautiful face. She sat quietly among a group of panicked people, her face full of sorrow. In her hand was a video she had recorded before the plane crash. She didn't say anything, but looked at the screen with eyes full of reluctance and a very sad expression. The video only lasted a few seconds.

The plane she was on was a flight from England to Kyoto. What day was that? And why was she on that plane?

Gu Minhang also specifically searched for all the plane crashes from the UK to Kyoto in recent years, but found nothing, which made him suspect that it was just his own imagination.

But the woman appearing in his mind became clearer and clearer, her features becoming increasingly distinct. She seemed to be constantly speaking, her expression shifting between anger, happiness, and tenderness as she looked at him, causing his emotions to change along with hers.

When she's angry, he panics. When she's happy, he's happy too. When she looks at him tenderly, he feels utterly content.

Who is she?! What's her name?! Why can't he hear what she's saying?!

Why does she look so familiar to him? Why does seeing her bring him a sense of peace?

"Who are you? What are you saying? Why can't I hear you?" he muttered to himself, his tone filled with longing and unspeakable helplessness.

That's right! The video! How did he get that video! Where did he get it from! Where is the video?!

Thinking of this, Gu Minhang's expression became agitated. He anxiously found his computer and flipped through folder after folder, but no matter how hard he searched, he couldn't find the video he was looking for.

His expression turned pained as he tried to recall where the video came from, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember.

"Who are you?! Can you tell me?" he growled in a low, suppressed voice, filled with utter despair.

As if torturing himself, Gu Minhang repeatedly recalled the scenes in his mind. Every time he thought of them, his head would throb with pain, but he still persevered.

He discerned the emotions of the stunningly beautiful woman when she called his name, as well as his older sister's, through her lip movements and facial expressions.

"Sister! Is it the 'sister' of 'elder sister'?" The voice murmured weakly.

Gu Minhang lay flat on the floor, staring blankly at the ceiling.

"Sister, sister." Why did that address sound so familiar? Was that woman his sister? Why couldn't he remember?

Where did his sister go? She died, yes, she died. The scene felt so real to him, and her sorrowful expression made his heart ache.

Due to exhaustion, Gu Minhang eventually fainted.

When he woke up again, he immediately took over the project and returned to Kyoto.

He looked terrible. His assistant wanted him to stay another day to rest before returning home, but he refused.

On the return flight, the image that kept appearing in his mind was of a woman looking sadly at the camera.

"Have you heard of the plane crash that occurred more than twenty years ago, when the plane was flying from England to Kyoto?"

The assistant thought for a moment and said, "No such incident occurred."

Gu Minhang didn't believe it. He asked again, "What about thirty years ago? Did it happen?" He was eighteen years old at the time. If a plane crash really happened, he couldn't possibly be mistaken. He was certain that a plane flying from England to Kyoto crashed back then, and it was a big news story that was reported on by all platforms.

"Or, on flights from overseas to Kyoto, are there any?"

The assistant was thirty-five years old this year and had never heard of any plane crashes involving flights from abroad to Kyoto, so he shook his head again with certainty: "Boss, really no, or maybe there are, but I don't know. Should I have someone check?"

Gu Minhang waved his hand: "Never mind."

When the plane arrived in Kyoto, Gu Minhang was on his way back to the company when his car passed the city hospital. Suddenly, his mind went blank, and a buzzing sound kept ringing in his head.
