The fleeting years have returned home on time.
Gu Minhang was reading in his room, unaware that Liu Nian had returned.
Seeing that it was lunchtime, Liu Nian realized she couldn't cook and usually didn't eat.
Thinking that the little one hadn't eaten yet, she opened her phone, quickly browsed through the menu, and ordered a few dishes.
She didn't bother Gu Minhang, but sat on the sofa, took out a file folder, and began to select scripts.
A thick stack of A4 papers was scattered all over the coffee table as she picked through them.
Before she could make a choice, her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and saw that her takeout had arrived.
For safety reasons, the community allows outsiders to enter but not to go upstairs, so everyone has to go downstairs to pick up their takeout orders.
Just as Liu Nian was about to leave, Gu Minhang, who had heard his phone ringing in the room, came out. When he saw Liu Nian return, his eyes lit up with joy.
"Sister, when did you get back? Why didn't you call me?"
"I just got back a little while ago. The takeout arrived. My sister is going down to get it. You wait at home." Liu Nian glanced at him worriedly: "Be a good girl and wait for me."
"Okay." The little guy nodded obediently.
It only took two minutes to pick up the takeout. As Liu Nian carried the takeout inside, she met the eyes of Gu Minhang, who had been staring at the door.
Their eyes met, and the little guy immediately ran over to her, saying, "Sister, let me get you some."
"Your hand isn't fully healed yet, I can carry it myself."
After placing the food on the table, I called the little one over to eat.
"I didn't know what you liked to eat, so I just ordered whatever came to mind. Please make do with it!"
Looking at the sweet and sour fish and sweet and sour pork ribs on the table, as well as the steaming lean meat porridge, Gu Minhang swallowed hard: "Sister, I'm not a picky eater."
"Then eat quickly, eat your fill!"
"Aren't you going to eat, sister?" He can't finish all that food by himself.
"I've already eaten. Civil Aviation will eat on its own. I have things to do. I'll clean up after I finish eating." With that, she went back to the living room to continue choosing scripts.
She thought she would pick a few more and see how things went, figuring out if she could film them all within a year, since there were so many scripts, it was impossible to finish filming them all in one year!
Then she picked out five books, took photos of them, and sent them to Jiang Tao.
Liu Nian: [Take a look and see if these books can be filmed according to the timeline I proposed. If not, then choose "The World's Ruler".]
Jiang Tao seems to be glued to his phone all day long, and he always replies to Liu Nian's messages instantly.
Jiang Tao: [OK, I'll ask the investors for you.]
Liu Nian: [Thanks!]
Jiang Tao: [I've never seen anything like this before!]
Liu Nian remained silent and simply didn't reply to him.
After finishing his meal, Gu Minhang came to her side, looked at the papers scattered all over the floor, and picked up a stack of them with a puzzled expression.
Liu Nian glanced at him: "Can you even understand it?"
"Understand."
Liu Nian was shocked: "You recognize all the characters?"
No way! The male lead's IQ is that high?! He's practically a monster with superhuman intelligence!
"There are some things that are too complicated that I haven't understood yet." She said, her face flushed, looking at Liu Nian with some embarrassment.
Liu Nian nodded: "It's okay, it's normal. After all, you're still young. No other kids are as good as you!"
Feng Guiyu's IQ was so high that even she found it absurd, but she didn't say anything.
The little guy was a bit embarrassed by the praise and could only change the subject himself: "Sister, are these all things you need to look at when you're filming?"
Liu Nian nodded: "Yes."
"There are so many to read!!" Looking at the pile of A4 papers covering the coffee table and carpet, little Gu Minhang was shocked and felt sorry for Liu Nian.
"Sister, won't it hurt your eyes to look at this?"
Liu Nian said she enjoys feeling cared for.
"No way!" she said, taking the script from his hand and explaining, "Look, here..."
After an afternoon of explanation, the little guy said he understood.
Then Liu Nian sent him back to his room for a nap, as she also needed to rest.
The script was quickly finalized, and Jiang Tao told her that the investors agreed, as long as she didn't back out.
Then the year began its busy life again.
Time flies, and soon the weather turned cold.
During a break from filming, Liu Nian specially sent a transfer to the nanny of the three little ones, asking her to take the kids to buy winter clothes.
They also said that you must match their style and not be too unsophisticated.
Then she closed her eyes to clear her mind and check on Su Ke's condition.
Su Ke's city is located in the south, so the weather isn't unbearably cold.
He was wearing a sweater and practicing calligraphy in his room.
Seeing his serious expression, Liu Nian's lips unconsciously curled up. She thought that after she finished filming this movie, she would go back and spend some quality time with him.
The little one lost both parents shortly after birth and was desperately in need of love, while she had little time to spend with him because she was busy earning money to raise him.
It has been more than two months since they last met, and I guess they all miss her terribly.
"Time Flies, let's begin filming!"
The director, who was not far away, shouted something.
Liu Nian opened her eyes, got up and walked towards the filming location.
She got into character in a second.
"My husband has been guarding the border for many years now. The Emperor has suddenly decreed that you return to the capital. What are your thoughts on this?"
“Of course I must return to the capital, but… I have been confined here for many years, and I am truly reluctant to leave.” The male actor was also very immersed in his role.
"My husband..."
When filming wrapped up, the director found Liu Nian and talked to her about it.
"Fleeting Time! Now that you've finished filming your scenes for this movie, how about considering my next project?"
“If there are good scripts, we will naturally give priority to your plays.” Liu Nian did not answer directly.
